This guesthouse was so charming and cosy, and the owners really thought about the little details, right down to the choice of crockery for breakfast and the furniture in the rooms. I loved how each room was named after famous people. The courtyard was very quaint, the location superb, and the staff were super informative about parking and where to eat for dinner. Breakfast was super and I cannot begin to express how amazing the shower was! Would highly recommend a visit.

Fantastic building and room. Beautifully furnished and decorated, with a particularly comfortable bed. The French family who own it were very hospitable and we enjoyed talking to them. They speak excellent English, by the way. The hotel is in the middle of the town, close to its historic quarter. There are some good restaurants close by, although you won’t find many open on Monday evenings. There’s a Carrefour close by though! Plenty of good hiking too in the forest nearby.

Quirky and at the same time very comfortable. We were given a warm welcome, and our host booked a table for us at a nearby restaurant (not his fault that the surly owner denied knowing about the booking and wasn't very welcoming). A good breakfast. Altogether a great place to stop over on a long journey through France. For non-French speakers, it might be useful to know that the owners speak English - not an issue for us, but other guests clearly appreciated it.

The hotel was incredibly clean and full of interesting African themed artifacts. The attention to detail is incredible with all sorts of items added to the room such as a well stocked cupboard with wine, beer, soft drinks, packets of nuts and other nibbles, all included in the price. You choose your breakfast the night before and everything is laid out beautifully in the morning. There are a few bars and restaurants within walking distance and others a short drive away. We stopped for a night on the way further south and again on the way back. We thoroughly recommend it.
