“Super!”

We spent three nights in Bellano. The location of this apartment is very good — both the ferry stop and the train station (direct train to Milan!) were about a six-minute walk away (in opposite directions). The apartment itself was excellent, with everything you need and also suitable for a longer stay. The village of Bellano is small and quiet, but it is extremely easy to get anywhere from there. We were able to communicate with the owner in English, he also shared some great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit.

Fantastic apartment in an amazing location. This apartment is only minutes from the train station and has view of lake Como from the balcony as well as the magnificent snow capped mountains. Francesco was a great host and we liked the extra touch of him meeting us to hand over keys and show us the apartment. He provided lots of information on the local area as well as some recommendations for places to eat. Opposite was the local bakery which provided excellent pastries to go with our coffee. Below a small Conad supermarket was also very convenient.

The apartment is very clean, cozy, spacious, with everything that is needed for living: bed linen, extra blankets, shower gel, shampoo, towels, hair dryer, dishes, coffee, tea. The flat is very cozy with beautiful interior, everything is chosen with taste. The tiles on the floor captivated us with its beauty. Very comfortable beds. There is a spacious balcony with a wonderful view to the lake and mountains. The apartment is located very close to the lake shore and the beach. Also it is very close to the train station. There is a shop at the same building that is very comfortable, although it might be a little noisy in the morning.

Very well located, well equipped and light and airy. Right next to a supermarket and as they say a very short stroll to the beautiful lake.

“Why go anywhere else?”

It feels like staying in a home rather than short stay apartment. Francesco is very welcoming, and it is so well furnished and equipped. The location with its view to the lake and in a pedestrian street is great. Food shopping right by. And - Bellano is a lovely place to stay rather than chic crowded Varenna, which you get to easily by ferry or train.

Francesco is an excellent host - communication and check in/out - location is good and the appartement is quite large and well equipped.

Very spacious with lots of equipment and in a great location for accessing the centre - the lake and close to the station. The bathroom was superb and included a washing machine though we did not use this. The kitchen was very useful although no oven and we appreciated the items left for us. The host was there to meet us and was very helpful. It was very quiet to sleep yet next door was a supermarket and across the street was a little bakery - both of these shut on a Sunday .

Amazing accommodation which is perfect walking distance from the train, ferry and the bars/restaurants. The apartment is spacious, with a a comfy bed and and has everything you’d need for your stay. Francesco is the best host and he kindly gave us a lift to Varenna ferry on our last day :)

“Totally worth it”

Lovely, warm host, very helpful at all the times. He let us put our bags before check in time. Told us about the interesting places in the area.

Everything was so perfectly clean, the apparent itself is amazing. The view on the street and lake from the terrace is nice and it perfectly suits for branches on a sunny day. The host is amazing, he was very friendly, explained everything we need to know about the appartment, made us a wellcome coffee and gave good advice on the sights of the lake. He also allowed us to stay longer on the last day for free, thank you do much! We would definitely come back!! The location is very convenient, close to the train station and to the lake waterfront and no hill to climb! The shop is just on the neighbouring building.

“People and places to be kept as one of the brightest memory”

Very spacious accommodation arranged in a simple style, good taste, supports all guests' need for convenient living. It is an ideal location, safe in peaceful area, walk on a mostly flat road only 350 m from train station, few steps to watch mountains and lake Como, 600 m on a beautiful waterfront walkway to the Bellano ferry and downtown. At 20:30 pm, very late for checking in, Francesca and his son waited to welcome us at the building's front door and provided friendly brief orientation for our stay. But, their generosity and hospitality were reallised long before, such as ; request for storing our luggage before check-in time was approved, his early warning of traffic delays, prompt notification to avoid problems and many good advices for our travel plan, and also, infomation of the guaranteed trains. Sorry for spending his time too much during the day of strike, which he kept communicate with us. Our desire to stay at this exceptional apartment is fulfilled. Thank you for everything they had done for us.
