Overview
Located in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, Stone's Throw Cottage B&B is a short walk from Puffing Billy Station and offers free WiFi and free breakfast. This 1-bedroom cottage features a large patio, a balcony and a master bedroom with a log fireplace. Free parking is provided. Stone's Throw Cottage Bed and Breakfast is 10 minutes’ walk from Trees Adventure Park, Belgrave Station and Sooki Lounge. It is 15 minutes’ drive from the William Ricketts Sanctuary. Melbourne Airport is a 1.5-hour drive away. This very private self-contained cottage offers a large open plan living area with bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom overlooking a small deck, large patio and relaxing 1/2 acre garden. Breakfast includes your choice of cereal, toast, fruit and yoghurt, with tea, coffee and juice. There are a number of restaurants within a 10-minute walk.

“A peaceful little oasis in a very busy world run by warm and welcoming hosts.”
We particularly liked the quiet of the Cottage, surrounded by all the green trees, as the weather was hot, the cool air-conditioned room was wonderful and peaceful, like a hidden oasis. Everything was clean and neat and well laid out, the outside verandah aera was also a very comfy peaceful place to sit while looking out upon all the green garden area. We had a small ring tail possum visit us on the veranda one night which made it all the more special. The hosts, Rob, Marg and Molly were great, making us feel very welcome there during our stay. We highly recommend you treat yourself to a stay at Stones Throw Cottage.

“A wonderful way to celebrate our wedding anniversary.”
Beautiful tranquil place would have loved to sit out on the terrace overlooking the garden more but rather inclement weather. We got text messages from Margaret even one wising us a happy anniversary and to enjoy our night out. So many little extras that made the stay Esperanto special.

We were greeted by Margaret and Rob who took us to our cottage and explained and showed us everything. They had provided very useful things for us in the fridge and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Nice little electric bbq on the patio. The best part was the view from the balcony and the Birdlife was amazing, quite a few parrots paid us a visit on a few occasions. Close to walk or drive to the shops too. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

The cottage is very private in a beautiful garden setting. Attention to detail with inclusions and decor. Excellent pre visit communication. Easy 10 minute walk to restaurants and 15 minute walk to Puffing Billy.

A lovely warm welcome from Marg & Rob who met us at the gate and were so friendly. The cottage is just gorgeous and very comfortable with a super comfy bed, yummy breakfast and great views out to the lovely garden. A very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Can’t wait to return soon!

The hosts are exceptionally kind, caring, concerned about our comfort, and always accessible. The kitchen is always well stocked with great breakfast and other goodies. The location is very peaceful. This is our second visit, and certainly not the last.
