The people who run it were very kind and helpful. Despite our pocito Spanish, they managed to communicate everything we needed to know. The man gave us a map of the town and showed us things to see. We could store our touring bicycles securely in a room on the ground floor. Our room was quite large (twin deluxe). Béjar has a fascinating textile museum; while lacking in interpretative information, it is extensive and interesting nonetheless.

“Going back in time”
This is a very old-fashioned place, and it feels like going back to a 1960's guest house. But it's clean and comfortable nonetheless. The owner let me store my bike in a secure room.

The host couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly when we arrived on our cycles wet and tired. He carried our bags to our room and stored our cycles by himself telling us to relax and rest.

“Friendly and simple accommodation and perfectly placed for cycling the Via Verde”
The host was expecting us and had an excellent place to safely store our bicycles during our stay it was nice to be offered freshly made coffee and eggs ( omelttes or with bacon) for breakfast, but as cyclists, we would have liked perhaps a little more volume ( extra toast or croissants). A great starting /end point for the Via Verde to Placencia.

Hotel very close to town centre. Room was clean. Comfortable bed and pillow. Breakfast was delicious. I will definitely stay here again whenever I am in Béjar. The hotel owner gave me also good tips about tourist atractions and where to go for lunch and dinner.
