Overview
This traditional hotel has been run by the same family for over 200 years. It is located in the Rhineland Palatinate’s Moselle Valley. The vine-covered terrace offers stunning views of the Metternich castle ruin. Hotel am Klosterberg offers a mixture of ancient traditions and modern comforts. The hotel is beautifully situated between the Metternich castle ruins and the Carmelite monastery, in the heritage town of Beilstein, known locally as the Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle. A breakfast buffet is served in the spacious breakfast room. Hotel Lipmann Am Klosterberg is situated between Trier and Koblenz. The hotel’s location is also ideal for exploring the Mosel countryside with hiking and boat tours.

“Absolutely amazing, perfect match for everything”
We had a truly wonderful weekend in beautiful Beilstein, and our stay at Hotel Lipmann ‘Am Klosterberg’ made the experience even more special. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The welcome drink immediately helped us forget the stress of everyday work life and finally stop checking business emails. The atmosphere was relaxing, the rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. You can truly feel that this is a family-owned hotel where every detail matters. We especially loved the beautifully renovated rooms and the absolutely stunning view from our room and balcony. Last but not least, this was my birthday weekend, and we were delighted to have the opportunity to upgrade from a Deluxe Double Room to a Suite for a very symbolic surcharge. It made our stay even more memorable and special. Thank you for such a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Wonderful place! We will definitely come back more than once. A large, beautifully and practically furnished room. Great view from the balcony to the ruins of the Metternich Castle. 3 minutes walk to the banks of the Moselle. Absolutely exceptional breakfast. 2 saunas, a sun room and a huge roof terrace. Helpful and hospitable staff - they know the answers to all your questions :). Convenient parking.

“Just lovely”
Beautiful old building, lovely location, parking and nice view. Large bedroom, balcony and a kettle 🥳. Super comfy bed, feather duvet, two pillows. Very quiet, perfect for a good night’s sleep. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast etc etc 😄 We didn’t use the wellness and sun terrace but it all looked beautiful.

All of it was very nice. Super friedly staff welcoming our last minute booking. Room was very very clean and loads of space. Balcony extra +. Breakfast was really good and served really covid safely. Highly recommed to stay!
