Really interesting hotel close to Lüneburger Heide, big touristic attraction of Norther Germany. Perfect breakfast, fine surrounding, quiet.

“One of the nicest places I have stayed in.”
Wonderful setting to explore the Lüneburg Heath. You will wake to birdsong, can walk from the hotel in any direction and be immersed in nature . The hotel is understated , fits into the landscape and does not try to be on trend. The staff are delightful, rooms airy and clean and there is a lovely peaceful sauna area.

Quick and excellent communication in app. Very friendly and forthcoming staff. Great , quiet location in woods. Excellent breakfast with wide variety of things and good quality items. Very delicious gluten free bread rolls available (need to request beforehand). Breakfast room spacious and elegant, with options to sit outside. Very dog friendly. Free parking. Comfy beds , room was spacious enough. Nicely themed and well thought out hotel. Definitely would visit again.

“We'll be back”
Ample free parking, electric chargers available and easy to use. Food is so good - both dinner and breakfast. Location is in a forest and surrounded by nature. Big playground for kids. Everything is treated with care.

Wonderful location, so peaceful and quiet! Very helpful and responsive personnel, good breakfast with tasty homemade jams. Unfortunately we stayed only one night and couldn’t enjoy the surroundings but we would definetely like to come back here one day!

Extraordinary location in the middle of the beautiful Lüneburger Heide. The food is really good (breakfast and dinner). For having a relaxed stay in the nature it's perfect.

“Perfect!”
The hotel was in a beautiful peaceful setting and the room was lovely. Many walks from there directly and we saw the shepherd come back with the flock which was impressive. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast buffet was great too.

“Green and wonderful - but one definitely needs a car and more better signs for non Germany speakers”
Positives sides: * the beautiful surroundings in that part of Germany - so many interesting sounds from the wildlife. Our kids kept asking so many questions every time they heard a bird, swish or grunting noise * excellent food - it was huge portions! GREAT after woodland walking * Super safe for children to stay there * Fantastic craftmanship of the old farm buildings and nice to see the photos from long time ago * Not so far to petrol stop Negatives sides: * Very far and intricate to find by car, especially late in the evening! Make sure to plan your arrival early. * The extra bed linens available were not so clean * The floors were also not very well hoovered, especially by beds and under table. * Poor shower - very slippery for small children * Bed mattress was so firm (but each to their own) Would have been nice with a medium kind of softness * Little TV channels available to watch later in the evening * Narrow steps on top floor (where we had our rooms). Hard to bring a dog around them up/downs
