“Great stay and game of golf”

Great place to visit and stay for a game of golf. Our rooms were the garden view rooms. They had everything we needed. The bed was firm and comfortable. Nice outlook over the gardens. The restaurants were excellent. Buffet breakfast was very good

The property is very poor condition, the rooms are very old and outdated, Staff can be more customer oriented, on our last day for checkout we are little extension for 1 hours but immediately it was refused, hotel management doesn’t care, If your golf lover then this the place but if your going with family or couple for relax not the place

Out of this world , I have been coming to Bali for the past 36 years , from the golfing staff to the food to reception, it exceeded my expectations 11 out of 10

It's in a less busy area. If you enjoy being surrounded by trees, this is the spot for you. Staff were extremely kind and helpful but could be more organised, especially in sheduling the activities and keeping them on time. Archery was fun but there was only one target. More suitable for come-and-try, I guess.

I got a great deal on bookings but when I went to extend stay, price jumped greatly. Golf was expensive unless you take the sunset deal, which I did and enjoyed. Room great, breakfast great, facilities great, staff great.

Absolutely stunning golf resort

Checking in was easy and the staff were all smiles and very helpful. Lovely reception area with great views. Our room was large and comfortable, fresh fruit each day in the room and a small box of chocolate biscuits each evening when the bed was turned down. Our bed was large and very comfortable, bathrooms were clean and well stocked with soaps and shampoos. The Handara have just opened their new restaurant as part of the ongoing refurbishment of the hotel. It is very nice, lovely artwork, comfy seats and great service from the staff. Breakfasts are good with a selection of different foods and a station for omelettes, fried eggs, etc. Lovely view down the 18th fairway too. Of course the Handara is all about golf and the golf course was great. Excellent condition, wide fairways, modern carts and very good caddies. If I had one criticism it would be that there is a minimum tip of 200,000 for each caddie - which I have no problem with, but that is the minimum. We had no idea as to how much we should be tipping over the minimum as 200,000 was plainly too little. We ended up tipping considerably more but it still appeared that this was not enough The weather was cool (for us) but the hotel provides blankets to use while you're in the bar and on the verandah downstairs. By the way if you go at this time of the year remember that it's the rainy season and it does rain, each day.
