At first impression, the place feels cozy, warm, with pleasant colors and a nice view. The room gets plenty of natural light, which is a big plus. However, after spending more time there, some practical issues become noticeable. There is no sink in the toilet, which is not very hygienic, and there is also no sink in the bedroom. We are basically forced to use the kitchen sink or the bath tub to brush the teeth which isn’t ideal from a hygiene or comfort perspective. The mattress is way too soft, making it feel like you’re sinking in. The house also has poor insulation. There is significant noise from the nearby restaurant late at night ( after Midnight) as well as from the house. Additionally, the window shutters don’t fully close, allowing streetlight to shine directly onto the bed at night. The decor is excessive and cluttered. There are too many unnecessary items, especially dry and plastic flowers, old magazines, stuff everywhere and the drawers are filled with things. A more minimal approach would improve the space—keeping just a few elements like the Buddhas and candles would be enough. The abundance of decorations makes it harder to relax. There are also too many decorative pillows on the bed (6) and having two blankets on the couch feels unnecessary—especially since the white one was not clean. Overall, less would be more.

Not accessible for disabled people as our room was up steep stairs to 2nd floor. Hand rail broken on stairs. Room has no toilet but shared at end of corridor with 1 other room. I saw no mention of this on website. 'Private bathroom' implies toilet in room.

The bedroom was lovely and reflected the trouble taken to make our stay pleasant and comfortable with extras included eg coffee machine, bath robes and toiletries

The location was good, thought was very noisy in the morning, because of the traffic. It is located on a main street.

I booked very last minute and was still accommodated!! I was very pleased. I was very nervous about the booking since I had placed it while I was en route on the train. It was a very beautiful room that I think would be very cute for night away as a couple. I loved the deep bathtub in the room. And there's a nespresso machine at the bedside too. I did not have enough time for a proper breakfast unfortunately, but they left me a pastry and some juice in the morning. So very very appreciated!! Responses via chat were relatively quick too. I asked if I could leave my bag while I took a day trip to a neighboring town, and there were no issues.
