“A pleasant stay made even more pleasant by Marie at Chez Marie!”

We were in Beaune for a week and were delighted by the chance to stay in a quite street in a traditional home, which can accommodate in separate facilities 2 doubles, each with a private modern bathroom, and one larger apartment with kitchen facilities which could accommodate a family. The is an open courtyard inside the building which provides a handsome place with tables and chairs where the breakfasts can doubtless be served, although we were there n March so the breakfasts were served in the owners dining area above the courtyard. Madame spears English well and does not hesitate to accommodate the guests. She walked with us to the huge Cité de Vin outside town because we were interested in it and she feared we might not be able to find it. On another day, she drove us in her personal car (our planned auto rental failed to materialize) up in the hills and found the two wineries that we wished to visit. The breakfasts were very good and provided an exceptional opportunity to plan our day. We were there for a week and were absolutely delighted with our stay.

“We expected the best B&B on our route, but it was quite opposite”

Good location close to the city center. Quiet. Our apartment was big enough for 3 of us. Marie is welcoming, speaks English (though texts always in French). We had luck with the last parking slot closer to the B&B.

Great location for exploring Beaune, we were sorry we only had one night in transit. We would love to return.

Good location for exploring the old city. Free parking nearby. Hostess is very welcoming and gave us a large, home prepared breakfast in the courtyard, with a great chance to talk to other guests. On her and their recommendation, we visited the Hotel de Ville hospital.

It is very pretty, all the rooms are different, Marie is very friendly and does a lovely breakfast. It was a bit chilly and she gave us a little heater and extra pillows. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Beautiful B&B situated in a convenient position to visit Beaune. The room was clean and decorated with nice furniture. Great breakfast prepared by Marie, including home made yogurt , jam and tarte. Marie is a very nice host!
