Overview
The Abbaye de Maizieres is a 12th-century former Cistercian Abbey, located in the heart of the historical centre of Beaune. The hotel offers free WiFi internet access. Each of the guest rooms is traditionally decorated with antique furniture and equipped with a private bathroom. The rooms are accessed from a spiral staircase in the tower. A daily breakfast is served in the vaulted stone cellar. Abbaye de Maizieres is just a few steps from the Notre-Dame Basilica and 350 metres from the Hospices de Beaune. The hotel can arrange wine tours of the nearby Cote de Beaune vineyards.

“Charming historic hotel with great breakfast”
We stayed in the Abbaye for 2 nights and really enjoyed the special atmosphere of this former monastery. It is quiet and the air conditioning was very useful during this heatwave. We also enjoyed a fabulous breakfast served by very attentive staff. Unfortunately, we could not take advantage of the great cellar for a glass of wine as we had already done quite some winetastings during the day. Highly recommended!
