Location in a pretty village close to La Loire. Traditional French property and decor, spacious rooms and very quiet. Close to other towns, shops and restaurants. Great breakfast and helpful host’s.

Our room was large and well equipped. Breakfast was great. There was no formal restaurant for dinner but they did provide 'light' plates if needed. This concept could be improved.

This place has 'class'. The decor, the furnishings, the gardens ...even the choice of ambience music. My wife and I keep returning here, this (spring '26) must be our fourth visit. We have a home in the Occitanie and La Tonnelleries is just the right distance for a half-way stop over. ...oh, and they do the best scrambled eggs ever!! ...and our dog is made welcome :-)

We have stayed here before for a night on a roadtrip with our dogs and we chose the hotel again because it is a great stopover - beautiful hotel! Wonderful facilities, gorgeous rooms, beautiful terrace and garden area with a pool and great staff and service!

Traditional with a good bed. Evening casual meal worked for us- no pretence as a restaurant but convenient not to have to go find a meal elsewhere. Comfortable shared lounge.

We spent 6 nights at La Tonnellerie. An amazing place to relax and enjoy nature. Staff is incredibly polite and helpful! We would definitely love to come back.

“Quiet hotel with a beautiful garden”

The hotel is situated in a quiet village, and has a beautiful courtyard garden. We had a family room which was very comfortable and recently decorated, with two separate rooms with a bathroom in between. The breakfast was very good, and lovely to be able to have it outside on the terrace. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to Beaugency which has lots of restaurants. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
