We loved it all...everything. The whole ambience of the place was wonderful. We aim to stay again. The hosts Louise and Sebastian were so friendly and the renovation of the accommodation was just what we wanted. BRAVO!

“An excellent stopover on our cycling trip”

The location was excellent in quiet countryside. Our room was excellent with everything we needed. Our hosts went out of their way to welcome us and to help us to find an evening meal . The breakfast was plentiful with local produce and some from their farm.

“Welcoming stay in lovely rural surroundings”

It was wonderful being able to roam freely around the farm and my children especially enjoyed meeting the animals and visiting the pond after a long drive. Breakfast was exceptional, with lots of local produce and the hosts were very welcoming

“Idyllic”

An idyllic rural spot only a short drive from the motorway. The accommodation was.delightful, as were the hosts. Breakfast was a feast of local produce, there really were donkeys and, an added bonus, a cuckoo!

It was very clean and the scenery was lovely. It was nice and quiet so we had a good nights sleep after a long journey.

Beautiful Setting, so peaceful, many animals on the farm. Great breakfast, local produce & homemade items too. Owners were most welcoming, accommodating & friendly, thank you Louise & Sebastian (Louise speaks English). The owners are living the good life with farming, using their donkeys for outings for visitors enjoying the local area in a donkey drawn carriage, also to plough the land,chickens for eggs, growing fruit, vegetables & herbs, all is organic. Groups can visit for education about farming, produce, biodiversity etc etc. Just 'living simply!!' Truly Wonderful!!

Absolutely gorgeous setting. This place oozes charm as do the hosts who are passionate about what they offer. Breakfast was amazing.

Welcoming, spotlessly clean, good location and quiet

Very welcoming hosts, and extremely comfortable room with great shower. I arrived at the end of a very tough day cycling in the rain and was fantastic to be able to dry out my wet things in front of the wood burner. Secure, dry place to leave bike. Great to have a communal room (with the wood burner) which was very cosy with books and a microwave, and gave the opportunity to meet other travellers. A working farm, with donkeys, would be great for families.
