The room had a cute ethnic design. The staff was quite friendly and nice and they offered us hot herbal tea when we arrived. The location is quite convenient for people who want to go to the Dinosaur Spine for that early morning cloud hunt. They have a great view of the mountains and the mist from the yard. But above all, the thing I enjoyed most here was the dogs, definitely the sweetest, smartest dogs I've met.

Views, exceptional food, peace and quiet. A perfect place to take some time alone and go for little hikes or just stay indoors with a book.

“Absolutely Memorable”

The homestay is further up the mountain, near the Thác khủng long Háng Đồng waterfall hike & Dinosaur Spine hike. If you’re looking for somewhere a little quieter, slow-paced, this homestay is for you. Everything is so perfect and serene. I’ve seen reviews about the cleanliness expectation. However, this is in the mountain and it’s a genuine nature experience. You can not expect to have brick buildings and hotel cleanliness. If this is what you’re expecting, then the trip itself to Tà Xùa is not for you. The accommodation I stayed is huge. 2 large beds, hairdryer, fridge, simple toiletries and amenities, modern toilet and shower, hot water, towels, kitchen and bathtub. I would highly encourage travellers to bring their toiletries (toothbrush, shampoo etc.), to decrease waste as trash treatment in Vietnam in general is by burning. Lovely homestay owners. I spent most of my time out taking strolls around. Only managed to speak to the lovely gentleman when he sent me down to my transportation. Will leave a more in-depth review with images on Google.

“Great stay in the hills”

Great location. Ended up staying 5 nights including an overnight on the Sa Mu trek. Every day started with an easy 5 am stroll down to the dinosaur's spine for the clouds and a coffee. Didn't actually see the clouds, but never came back disappointed. Great start to the day. Food is great. Vegetarian or not, make sure to ask for the veggy egg plant/aubergine dish. Air is just the sweetest, especially if coming from Ha Noi. Beds are comfy. Showers are hot. Views are to die for. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Plan to return towards the end of my trip for more of the same.

Good views

Really nice and soft pillows and blankets, and a very nice smell in the room. A kind of a romantic vibe. Though you should ignore the space between the beams in the room, which is showing the light of your neighbors room, and also very very noisy. It’s just the whole atmosphere we loved. We’ve had breakfast, lunch and diner at the place. They cooked also really good vegetarian food for me. We couldn’t even see the view because it was too foggy, but still did a beautiful hike up to the waterfall. Would recommend this place!

This is a beautiful Homestay in the mountains. It has a remote feel and is very peaceful. There are horses, cows and dogs nearby so perfect for a break from busier cities in Vietnam. If you walk up the hill from the rooms, you can reach above the clouds on cloudier days, especially in the winter. The only negative was that the cabin was very cold at night as it is just wood and had gaps in the roof and between the wood panels. The hosts are very attentive to your needs and went beyond to cook things we requested that were not from the menu. They also let us borrow coats as we had not packed for the cold. They lit a fire in the evenings and morning as it was so cold during our stay. The food was very good and they also offer tours. It is an easy walk to the dinosaur spine from this Homestay.

“Nice view and comfortable stay away in the mountain”

The view from the one bedroom apartment is unbeatable if you have a cloudy night or if it has rained the night before. We have checked in on Oct 2nd 2023. I have reserved this place for our group of 9 people (oe bedroom apartment for my brother's family of 4 people; 2 double room, 1st room: myself and my husband, 2nd room: my tours guide and driver, 1 twin room with shared bathroom for my adult son). We arrived a little bit earlier than 2pm, maybe 1pm. They let us check-in without any problem. Roads from the town center to this place is rough. Since this is far from the town center and in the mountain, we had a late lunch, dinner and breakfast there. Food was fine. Nothing fancy. They have a lot of dogs from the neighborhood come and hang around the facility. My tour guide had told me on the checkout date, after we left the facility that he was bitten by dogs lices the night before. So he didn't have a good night sleep. I find that the room's linen has a musty smell in it. Since this place is located in a mountain and above the clouds, maybe the humidity problem is something that we can avoid. Overall, it is good. Value vs quality is acceptable. There is room for improvements.

“Spectacular!”

The view is spectacular! We woke up in the clouds! The room was clean. It's a shared bathroom, which was fine because it's clean. The family doesn't speak English but google translate works a treat. The food was yummy and the family is friendly. The accommodation is tricky to get to because it's on the side of a mountain.

I had a great stay, absolutely lovely hosts, great food and the room was clean and comfortable! The location is brilliant as well, with amazing views!
