“Nobita - A Central Garden Stay”
We were warmly welcomed by the manager & we were able to hire a scooter from them - even for an overnight stay at a homestay out of town! Our garden bungalow was perfect, & an easy walk into town for the Sunday market, meals and coffee at Milano Coffee! We enjoyed sitting at the table in the garden outside our bungalow.

“Bare bones accommodation, great location with lovely hosts”
Nobita is great value for money, for $15 per night, but the price is reflective of what you get. The host is incredibly kind and generous! We had a meal with their family and they were very helpful in taking us to lunar new years celebrations and helping us find places to have dinner. The noise related to the locals partying ends at 9pm so not an issue for falling asleep, but you probably want to bring earplugs anyway. Perfect location if you want to go to the market or want to be walking distance from places to eat

“Very good!”
Owner was very helpful (even came to pick us up! and arranged at a very last minute our bus ride to Lao Cai) and flexible, bungalow nice and with terrace overlooking the nice garden and heating was great in this chilly winter time. We ate in the big hotel next door (Ngan Nga) and was amazing. Only 15 minutes walking to the market. Very good option in Bac Ha

Lovely little homestay. Twin rooms are on the smaller side, no frills and clean. Shared bathrooms were totally grand. Great value for money, lovely staff.

“Simple and clean homestay with outstanding touristic recommendations”
The homestay is located on a hill a short walk from the centre in a quieter area of town which made for nice loop strolls. The owner was very helpful and recommended suitable restaurants, organised a motorbike tour and my onward travel including drop off at the bus station. I particulary appreciated his suggestions to see the night market with folk dancing and other entertainment and sightseeing for a full day tour. The room was simple and clean with a well functioning aircondition. Despite the number of guests the shared bathrooms were sufficiently clean and there was always toilet paper and towels. The owner also let me use the kitchen to make my own breakfast. Communication was good and he was savvy in using translation app if needed.

“Good basic place to stay”
We liked the lovely garden, birds, flowers, small pool. Very affordable. Close to the Sunday markets. The owner helped to arrange transport for is back to Hanoi.

The Homestay is really nice. It's a walking distance, 5-8 min from the main square where the street market starts. We stayed in for one night in the rooms that have a wooden bath tube. The room is really beautiful, clean and cozy. They have good ac.

“VERY noisy on Saturdays, but quite nice overall”
Good value for money in Bac Ha, not too far from the center and market. Very nice hosts, helpful when you go to them and with a translate app. Comfy enough! Breakfast is good value.
