Large room, furnishings and bathroom fixtures are a bit dated, but everything is fully functional and was nice and clean. Excellent value. Breakfast quality quite good for this hotel category. Nice little extras like a water cooker in the room. Friendly owner.

Everything was as expected/as in the description and even better - very-very clean, big room with a giant balcony, bathroom big enough to accommodate both of us doing something at the same time, very big bed, super friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, quiet. Bayrishzell itself is small (but very nice), so every location is good - everything is reachable, mountains around are very beautiful, swimming pool is great, all restaurants have great food, local orchestra plays nice music.

The breakfast is very good! It is really a small town and the house is just located at the entry from the main street from outside, easy to be found. The whole house is more than a simple hotel, because we were staying there just like staying at home. But the good view is different from being at home. The balcony is enjoyable to have both church and mountains in views. One thing in the last, the house was built as the traditional wooden-like Bavarian style.

This was my second stay here - though this time my room was in the annex across the road from the main accommodation. The room was very nice, with a small balcony. The bathroom was well appointed, with an excellent shower. I particularly enjoyed having the lovely buffet breakfast outside on the patio.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms recently renovated and very clean. For breakfast apart of the traditional cheese and ham, different "eggs" options were available on demand: boiled, fried, etc. Reasonably priced minibar. A couple of restaurants close to the hotel and Edeka supermarket.

Lovely place, incredibly attentive and friendly owner, greeted us despite our late check in and offered to store our bicycles in the garage over night. Yummy breakfast, and again every wish was fulfilled; historical house with a lot of interesting interior, and a vibe that reminds me of childhood summer vacations in the mountains :) Also, there is beautiful nature to be explored in walking distance, a shame we couldn't stay longer!

Bayrischzell is a lovely quiet village in a beautiful location. My photo of the village was taken from the top of the Seeberg, one of the mountains overlooking the village. The Gästhaus was really nice. The buffet breakfast was good, with an option to sit outside in the garden. I particularly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony reading in the evening. The range of walks from the village was good with excellent signage.

Super friendly and helpful landlord and staff. All very clean, with daily room service. Nice breakfast, adjusting to our needs (lactose free, gluten free), with fresh boiled eggs every morning.
