Le Tardif is a 18th century private mansion located in the former botanical garden of Bayeux. It offers rooms with period furniture and varnished parquet floors. “Really lovely!”
It was a very lovely property. The garden and pool were superb! They didn’t charge for parking overnight which was a bonus. Staff were perfect. Location on point too. Size of rooms were spacious.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The accommodations were lovely, comfortable, and well-appointed. The location is fantastic—safe, with plenty of restaurants and charming little shops nearby. The architecture of the area is stunning, and the view from our window of the Cathédrale de Bayeux was absolutely breathtaking. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to family or friends visiting the area. A truly memorable experience!

“Lovely find in Bayeux”
Lovely find right next to Bayeux Cathedral with parking which is secure at night. We had a two bedroom suite which had views of the cathedral, ideal space for family or 2 couples travelling together. Our suite had a lounge and kitchen area. We unfortunately didn't get chance to use the pool but area looked great. We also didn't have breakfast. With walking distance of Cathedral, the town centre and Bayeux War museum and British War cemetery. We also used a company called Retro normandy Tours who collected us from our hotel on vintage bikes with side cars and took us on a local tour.

“Stunning!”
Stunning! A classic French chateau feel. We only booked for one night, but we extended our stay a second as it was all magnificent. The grounds were beautifully kept, we didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor pool but it was heated. The beds were super comfy, bathrooms and products were divine. We added breakfast one of the mornings, coffee and fresh juice, there was limited cooked options, but lots of pastries, yoghurts and cereal to choose from. Location for Bayeux is perfect. We’ll be back I’m sure!

“A perfect getaway! I just needed at least another night at Tardiff.”
It was a beautiful property with a lovely garden, pool and the apartment was beautifully appointed and spacious. It was perfect for my son and me but could have accommodated 2 couples easily. The staff was helpful and so kind!
