“Love, love, loved my stay here with my family.”

My family and I (7 adults) spent a week here and loved it. With 5 bedrooms on two levels we had space to spread out. I loved the great big dining table for everyone to sit together. It had a cool spiral staircase to get up to the bedrooms too. A great outdoor area to use also if the weather is kind to you. The kitchen has everything you need if you’re self catering. The house is in a fantastic part of Bayeux. It’s on a street full of cafes and restaurants (even one directly below us) and shops. The street is shut to traffic during the day and there was no noise from the restaurants in the evening. A supermarket is a few doors down as well as the tourist info centre. My aging parents were arriving by ferry very early in the morning from the UK and they were allowed to check in a bit earlier which was a great help to them. There is no parking at the house which was not a problem as we parked a few streets away and just had a 5-10 minute walk there and back. Great area to stay in Normandy. Bayeux cathedral and commonwealth war cemetery within walking distace. Close to the central D Day beaches. Various Chateauxs and quaint villages all close by too. Mont saint Michel only 1.5 hours away. I would gladly stay here again.

Perfect location on the main street, walking distance to most sites in Bayeux and many great restaurants and shopping. A lot of room for the price, perfect for a larger group. Great outdoor patio. Close to primary tour group pickup locations. Host was prompt and friendly before the visit and with key exchange.
