Overview
Set in a 2000m² park, this 19th-century house is just 200 metres from the Bayeux Tapestry. You can admire the views of the garden from your elegant room or visit Omaha Beach, 6 km away. A desk, an en suite bathroom and a wardrobe are provided in the rooms at Clos de Bellefontaine. You will also have access to tea and coffee making facilities in the communal lounge. Breakfast is served every morning in the dining room or on the south-facing terrace. Additional facilities include free Wi-Fi in public areas and free use of the property’s laptop in the lounge. Free private parking is available on site and bicycle rental is possible near the property. The centre of Bayeux and the train station are a 5-minute walk away.

“A fantastic host in beautiful Bayeux”
We could not asked for a better location, more beautiful surroundings and a welcoming host. Carole made every effort to make our stay memorable. Our room was truly ‘elegant’. The breakfast was very French and delicious. Secure parking was ideal and we were able to walk into Bayeux.

The location was perfect, in a quiet area of Bayeux, readily accessible to the main roads to places of interest outside Bayeux but very easily and safely walkable to the town centre within 5/10 minutes to restaurants/bars/Bayeux tapestry/cathedral etc

“I would definitely stay there again and give an excellent recommendation to anyone planning visit”
Carole was most helpful, friendly and charming and, would talk to you about Bayeux and the house. The Breakfast was excellent and provided different fruits and cheeses each day and Carole would change something there and then if it was not to your liking. The house was in a very nice location and easy to find.

Carole was a superb host, the house was beautiful & felt like your own. The offerings both at breakfast & in the lounge were generous and delicious. Her breakfast was superb and her knowledge and help about exploring the area was brilliant. The room was incredibly comfortable.

“This was a perfect B&B, breakfast was excellent and onsite parking secure.”
The accommodation was beautiful and provided excellent secure onsite parking. Breakfast was superb, and it was a short stroll into the centre of Bayeux. It was the perfect destination for our first two nights in France. We wished we had stayed for longer.

Bright and spacious, this elegant room features 3 large windows and views of the garden.
Twin Room
Located on the third floor (USA), this is a guestroom with 2 single twin beds (not double bed) and its own bathroom with a tub (no shower). Accessible by a narrow staircase (no lift), we do not recommend it to very tall people or those with reduced mobility, and too large luggages. Large and furnished in the old attic of the house, this room is popular for its calm and silence that prevails there.
