“Boutique guest house in Bayeux.”
This is a small guest-house very close to the lovely cathedral in central Bayeux. We reserved the attic bedroom; once we'd climbed steep stairs, the top bedroom was pleasant, the bathroom spacious and stylish. Breakfast was immaculately served in a small beautifully decorated front room. We enjoyed meeting the owner M. Laurent who was friendly and chatty. The location of this guest house makes it ideal for a stopover in Bayeux.

A true Normandy experience . We had a wonderful stay at Camélia . Laurent was a fabulous, genuine caring host . Knowing we had an early start one morning handed over a few pastries and fruit to keep us going . Great ideas on eating out and sites to visit .

“Beautiful accommodation ideally situated for exploring Bayeux.”
Camelia was beautifully decorated and in the perfect location for wandering around Bayeux and accessing many restaurants and cafes. The pick up point for most tours was less than a 5 minute walk away. The train station is an easy 10 minute walk. The Tapestry Museum is a minute away however be aware it is currently closed and the famous Bayeux Tapestry has been moved to the UK. The Museum is currently undergoing renovations. Laurent was an excellent host and provided us with delicious breakfasts each morning and lots of tips on what to see/where to go.

“Great place to stay.”
The house is extremely well kept and is in a great location with only a few minutes' walk into Bayeux. The main attractions are also only a few minutes walk away. I had breakfast at the property, and there was more than enough variety and plenty of choice. The owner was an excellent host and went above and beyond to help. I was allowed to park my motorbike in a small off-road courtyard at the property. This is a great property and I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

“Charming room in a delightful property. Highly recommend”
Loved the location, the super cute upstairs room, great shower and comfortable bed. Access to the little courtyard for a drink was a bonus. We didn’t have breakfast but the dining area was lovely. It’s so close to the centre of Bayeux which makes it perfect. Free parking was available nearby.

Very central, 10 minute walk to the tours, across the road to the tapestry museum. Such a beautiful hotel with attention to detail. Really comfy bed and a stunning breakfast. Really peaceful but close to everything. Highly recommend!
