Overview
This non-smoking guest house offers rooms with views of the Bavarian Forest, free Wi-Fi, a library and a children’s playground. It lies a 5-minute walk from the centre of Bayerisch Eisenstein. The rooms of the Gästehaus am Berg come with a TV and DVD player, tea and coffee-making facilities and free mineral water. Most rooms feature a balcony. Bayerisch Eisenstein is surrounded by the cycling, hiking and ski trails of the Großer Arber Mountain. The ski lift is only a 10-minute drive away, and it is an 8-minute walk to the Czech border. “It’s a perfect choice for a pleasant stay during both summer and winter holidays-highly recommended!”
Property is well located, pretty close to village centre and railway station. It’s run by a lovely British couple with a dog. Free parking outside, terrace and garden. Room was spacious but cozy, well equipped and very clean. It also featured a balcony and fast Wi-Fi connection. We enjoyed breakfast buffet, especially home made jams :) There is an open place to sit, equipped with mini bar and a bunch of stuff to play with - football table, board games, toys, books and DVD collection. Hosts are helpful and easy going, it was a pleasure to meet them and spend some time with.

Great accommodation with very nice and friendly hosts. Homemade specialties are served for breakfast, such as excellent lemon curd or delicious fruit marmalades. National park cards are ready upon arrival, so we could make a short trip right after our arrival. We will look forward to staying in this nice accommodation again.
