A wonderful stay at Le Petit Château. Beautiful small château with a cosy, boutique and very homely atmosphere. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming, and went above and beyond to help us — from arranging a restaurant reservation in Épernay to giving us tips for charging our car. The food is absolutely outstanding, so definitely have dinner here if you stay. The rooms are stylish, practical and thoughtfully designed, with great attention to the small details. They even made fresh hot chocolate for my husband 😊 Everything was simply perfect.

Gorgeous house, the owners have amazing taste. Renovated with style and grace. Dinner and breakfast were really good! There are some sheep on the grounds we could pet. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. Our room was gigantic and beautiful.

“Delightful stay, immaculate property and exceptional food.”
Immaculate property with very well appointed rooms. I’d recommend the amazing 3 course meals by Kris the host which we are still discussing as they were so good. The garden is peaceful and the outside patio was a lovely spot for breakfast drinks and dinner.

“Beautiful, relaxing, delicious food”
Kris and Annemieke were excellent hosts. The dinner menu was inventive and delicious. Great that Kris uses produce from their garden. The chateau has been beautifully refurbished and decorated. Our bathroom in particular was lovely, with an excellent shower, always a good sign. Sitting in the lovely garden, in the sun, listening to the birds, with a pre-dinner drink was incredibly relaxing, especially after a long day travelling. Well located to explore the champagne region, and a reasonably priced champagne house at the end of the road.

My partner and I had an amazing long weekend at the chateau! It is such a gem!=) The hosts provided such a warm welcome and incredible hospitality. The chateau itself is located in a very nice small village, so perfect place to relax and recharge. The food was also very good, so I would recommend to definitely book some dinners with champagne (they serve champagne from the same village). Overall we are so pleased with our stay and would love to come back again!

Great hosts, warm and welcoming. Freddy the dog was also welcoming, Kris's food was delicious and good value, huge room and bathroom. relaxing garden the only sounds were the birdsong. Baye is a lovely little village to walk around.

“Great to stop over in the beautiful champagne region on the way back from the French alps”
After a long drive from the French Alps this was the perfect stop over, we arrived and sat in the garden with a glass of champagne. The hosts cooked us a delicious meal taking into account our dietary requirements. The beds were comfy, great shower and view from the room. Breakfast in the morning was just perfect to set us up for another long drive home to the UK. Ample parking.
