Boasting a swimming pool, Camping Residence & Lodge Orchidea offers apartments with an outdoor dining area,on Lake Maggiore shores. Guests find a restaurant, private beach, bar and bike rental at the Orchidea Camping next door. With either a private balcony or patio, apartments and mobile homes at the Orchidea include a bedroom, a bathroom, and a living room with kitchenette. Each has functional décor, tiled floors and garden views. The Orchidea Camping Residence is in Feriolo, a 5-minute drive from Baveno and just about double the time from Verbania. Both towns can also be reached by a bus stopping nearby.

“Very nice”
Great camping right on the shore, with its own beach and a public beach nearby. A football and volleyball fields nearby for kids. A nice restaurant right on the grounds, and a breakfast cafe with a view. Well-equipped kitchen, but you better bring your own soap, toilet paper (you get one roll in the welcome package). The mobile houses were quite well soundproof, with AC working both in heating and cooling modes. Car gates close at 23:00, which made us concerned about late-night medical emergencies — but there is a night guard for such cases, and pediatric hospital 15 minutes away (with English-speaking staff), so all good.

“Great campsite, fab location”
We stayed in one of the apartments just next to the site. It was really clean, comfortable and well equipped. The terrace had enough space to sit and eat and a view over the pool and lake. The camp facilities were good, the pool was really clean, pizzas at the restaurant great and useful to have a shop on site. There is also a small beach area by the lake. The staff onsite were always really friendly and helpful. The location is great, just next to the small town of Feriolo which is very picturesque and has a few more lakeside restaurants and a small supermarket. Plus there is a bus service connecting to other larger towns (hourly). There are also boat trips you can book via the site from Feriolo which was very useful.

“Great base for exploring the local area.”
Great campsite right on the lake front close to a small village. Staff spoke excellent English and were very friendly and helpful.
