Located in the quiet town centre, it is in walking distance from train station, shops, river Doubs. Very helpful owners. Spacious room and bathroom. The beautiful courtyard with mini-piscine is the icing on the cake!

In the past the ground floor of the building seemed to consist of a bar and possibly a restaurant. If so, these premises were no longer used for these purposes. On entering the establishment there was a long table with chairs where your own breakfast could be eaten. We ate our breakfast with other guests in a friendly atmosphere. At the back of this open area was a small room with dish washer and adjacent to it a small room with plates, bowls and cutlery and coffee maker. Finally there was a kitchen with cooking facilities. Our room was fairly small, with comfortable beds ( a double and a single). The bathroom looked to have been recently modernised. The shower was very modern and clean as were the sink and toilet. There were towels in the room and there was a kettle for making tea, a TV and a new efficient heater. We had a comfortable, quiet night's sleep.

This house made you think about what charm really means. In the middle of town we found an old building (16th century tower enclosing spiral staircase). Ours was a spacious room with a comfy quaint old creaky bed, and a private bathroom that used to have a bathtub in it (still visible but out of use). A charming couple who even let us 'park' our bikes in the reception area.
