Excellent hosts - Celine was super helpful! Wifi ok, enough space in hut for 1 person, fan and mossie net provided, seating area for socialising, close to Batuan for shops and food. A moped is necessary if you're going to stay here. There is a bus but for 'freedom' I suggest renting a moped. The hostel has one. I'd stay again.

“Authentic place in the mountains, best location to explore Bohol”

I absolutely loved staying here in the mountains. Maybe my favorite place I’ve stayed so far on my trip because it was so peaceful. A short motorbike ride from the Chocolate Hills, and close enough to waterfalls. It was really accessible via Ceres bus (drops you off in the town nearby on the way from Ubay, goes right in front of the house going towards Panglao). I was only going to stay a night but extended. Seline was the best and most welcoming host ever! I stayed in the single hut and the dorm. Both are basic but good. The bathroom was basic with a handheld hose and island style toilet - you just add water to it to flush, which is no big deal at all, this is a more authentic experience for the Philippines. I was the only person in the dorm. The garden is gorgeous and there are chickens roaming around. They have bikes for rent and you need one to explore. Not kidding it was probably one of the best days of my life exploring 3 different waterfalls (Pangas, dam-agen, and another nearby), the chocolate hills, getting food from a Carnideria, then chilling in the hammock with my book after, not having to deal with staying in a crowded tourist place or taking a tourist crowded van. With the price of the accommodation so affordable the price of the motorbike (500) m balances out. I would come back no doubt!

Nice cozy place to stay around chocolate hills

This Homestay is amazing! The owner is very kind and helpful. It is quite simple accommodation (no hot water, ac) but it is still very nice and clean. The location is great for people who wants to escape the touristy, crowded areas. It makes you truly experience the beauty of surroundings and be closer to the nature. Thank you so much! Highly recommended.

Basic hostel, quiet place, very comfortable bed, cheapest place i stayed. Good value for money. Beautiful setting and clean, i recommend it to any budget travellers

Place near waterfall and chocolate hills, good for 1 night. Humble but according to the price. Manager is nice and helpful. Mosquito net. The place is acceptable.

Basic facilities for a basic price

I stayed two nights in the treehouse and was a nice change from staying in the towns. Lovely and peaceful place with friendly staff. It is 5km from town so is best if you have a bike which I did.

“You got what you paid for .”

Good for an over night stay to stop over -going the chocolate hills then back to Panglao . Simple room , you got what you paid for . Bed is big enough for the couple, usual foam bed couple of pillows , beddings are clean . They offered cup of coffee and egg sandwiches for breakfast is a bonus.

Staff were very welcoming, the rooms are clean and nice. Nature and suroundings are amazing. U get a free towel, shampoo and even a small breakfast with coffee which i enjoyed very much. The hammocs all over the place to chill

Nice little place to stay for a few days while exploring the area. I liked the hospitality of Celine. She was very friendly and welcoming and fun to talk to.

The small huts are basic but really cozy, you have everything you need! And the staff is super friendly and welcoming. All in all a good place to visit the Chocolate Hills and the surroundings with nice people.

“Good for an overnight”

Good to stay one night, the hut is very simple but convenient, has a fan and a couple of electric outlets. They gave free coffee and bananas for breakfast. The staff was friendly.

“Green homestay”

The cottage is cute and it was an interesting experience. We spent only one night here because we wanted to see other areas in Bohol, but the place is perfect if you want to relax after the chocolate hills or the tarsier sanctuary.

Very nice place. Super nice and friendly people. Make sure to ask about the sunrise and sunset mountains. They are both about 15 min away on foot and the views are great!

The people working there is just amazing! They always try to help you with everything and make you feel like home. The hostel is in a really quite area 5 minuts away by bike from Batuan.
