Overview
Located in a convenient area, THE PLACE Hostel & Rooftop Bar offers accommodation in the heart of Battambang. Guests can enjoy meals at the rooftop restaurant or have a drink at the bar. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The Central Market is 50 metres from the hostel. Fan-cooled rooms are equipped with individual lockers, a light and an electric plug. The staff was very friendly, we had a bus at 10pm and they allowed us to leave the backpacks and even shower after check out. The bed was comfy and had everything we needed, bathroom was clean and everything worked great. Good location close to bus agencies.

“Would stay here again”
Nice room with good AC. It was comfortable and the hostel was in a good location. The hostel also offer tours which were fairly priced and provided a good tour guide with decent knowledge.

Comfortable bed with a locker for a small bag. Staff were friendly. Has a nice rooftop. Air con from 6pm - 10am. They have a tour you can book with lots of others from the hostel so was nice to meet people.

“Great vibe, accomodating and helpful staff”
Room was clean and staff were very helpful and polite. Also helped with medication we needed refrigerating and were very accomodating. Rooftop bar was good place to chill and food was decent there

we came to stay for just one night, the private rooms were great value and very comfortable. Nice food and drink on the rooftop too

Nice rooftop bar, clean, social but chilled, good for a couple of nights but wouldn’t stay longer. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

“Overall great hostel”
The beds were great, like a private pod. The staff were amazing and organised a really great all day tour which was amazing value for money. The food in rooftop cafe was really good too. It was also so cheap for 1 night so great value.

“Amazing rooftop and nice place to stay!”
Nice place to stay and the rooftop is amazing, a perfect place to relax and wait until the heat gets better.:) The dorms are modern, were very clean and you had enough pricacy thanks to the curtains. I‘d defenitely book there again!
