“Exceptional stay.”

I had a terrific stay. The family were wonderful hosts, very caring and considerate. They arranged for me to be picked up at the bus station and again as i left, I received little sweet treats every day, and got help with any questions. The bed was super comfortable, the room spotless with excellent AC. The area is lovely, very close to the river and nice cafes and restaurants, but quiet and safe. I cannot recommend enough.

The hosts were amazing and quick to respond to any questions we had. The food was delicious, and they even gave us some local treats to try out. We felt very welcomed. Would definitely stay here again!

“Fantastic little family run hotel in great location.”

Lovely family owned guesthouse with superbly attentive and friendly staff. We were upgraded as it’s my wife’s birthday and the room was spacious clean and comfortable. The pool is lovely too. We were picked up at the bus station for free - though the hotel is within easy walking distance of pretty much everything.

Everything about our experience from the start u til the end was fantastic. The care taken by all the staff to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed was 10/10. Fresh fruit and cakes were given to us everyday and the bed was the comfiest we’ve had for sure! When we checked out we were sent along with gifts of fruit, a locally made purse and a picture of us from our day tour. A big shout out to our tuk tuk drivers too, Mr Khem Ry picked us up from the bus on our first night and he looked after us during our day tour, stopping to show us the local produce grown around Battambang. Mr Soon got us to our bus and chatted with us about the cities we are going to next and about himself and his family. Thank you to all the staff and we hope to be in Battambang again so we can stay at Muni again ❤️

The staff were exceptionally friendly and catered to my every request. The bed was super comfy also.

Unbelievable stay, you rarely come across such a lovely caring family environment when staying. rooms are comfortable and spacious there is a really nice pool and spa. AC Wifi and good water pressure. extremely clean. delicious snacks. Special shout out to our tour guide and tuk tuk driver Mr Khem Ry.

“Amazing !”

We loved our stay here. The staff are amazing it really felt like a home away from home. They were so helpful and made us feel so welcome and special. We also did a tuk tuk tour around Battambang including the bat caves and local farms and temples, with Mr Khem Ry through the hotel and he was so informative and made the day for us.

“Muni Residence is a lovely, welcoming place to stay and would highly recommend to all”

The room we stayed in was perfect for our 2 night stay. Bed was really comfortable. The pool was really nice and clean. The family who own Muni residence are so friendly and helpful, that was our favourite part about staying here, how welcome and at home they made us feel. They gave us some fresh fruit and a drink on arrival and some other snacks during our stay which was so thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again!

“Highly recommend! Nothing to fault”

We absolutely loved our stay at Muni! From the moment we got there we immediately felt the care they have for their guests. We were greeted with fruit and dessert, which was delicious, and they made sure that everything in our room was perfect! Their attention to detail went all the way till our departure when they sent us off with even more fruit! Everyone was so sweet and kind to us we are sad to leave! We wish we could stay longer! We would also like to give a special shout out to Mr. Khem Ry! He was our driver provided by Muni to give us a tour to the bat cave, bamboo train, and other local sights. He was excellent and very knowledgeable about Battambang especially the local plants and fruits! We highly recommend requesting him!

Beautiful family run accommodation. Stayed 2 nights, from the moment we arrived to the minute we left we were treated like family and a level of hospitality very hard to find these days. Spotless, modern and great location.

The room was clean and very comfortable. The pool was awesome and the food & beverages were great but most of all the hosting family were the sweetest and most helpful hosts I have ever come across. I would highly recommend staying here when travelling to Battambang.

Our stay at Muni was wonderful. A family run hotel providing excellent local recommendations and lovely personalised touches during our stay. Saven, Moon, Channa & Nana make you feel like a member of their family. Communication was excellent , and we felt right at home immediately.

“Fantastic family run hotel”

I have never experienced such a friendly hotel. Without exception all the family go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are great and the pool perfect for relaxing at the end of a day. Location is brilliant (off the beaten track but only a 10 minute walk to the main bars and restaurants) - if I ever come back to Battambang it will be Muni. Thanks to you all again.

“Excellent stay”

This is a family run facility. The sisters and brothers go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. It is clean and well managed and located conveniently close to the river, but on the other side and away from the Pub Street hustle. However you are only a 5 min tuk tuk drive or a 10 min walk away. Will definitely come back.
