Location was wonderful. The view from the balcony was a winner. It’s beautiful to wake each morning to that view. Sophia at reception was a beautiful soul. She was so informative & helpful! Always a delight to talk to!! She is an asset!!

“Special!”
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the most angelic person- Sophia. To say she was helpful is an understatement! She went over and beyond to help us with issues that weren’t even related to the hotel. Never have I met someone so special who made us feel happy each time we saw her. The hotel is exceptionally lucky to have someone so exceptional representing them. I would go back for that reason in itself. Absolutely amazing! Thank you SO much Sophia!♥️

This hotel was perfect. Everything was amazing. The staff, Sophia made our trip amazing. The hotel is in a perfect location and has everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was included and had lots of options. We would come back and stay here anytime.

“Wonderful Hotel and staff”
The view from our balcony was incredible and so peaceful. The pool was lovely. The room was great with everything you needed. The shower was excellent. The breakfast was lovely, plentiful and the lovely Chrissie kept it topped up always with a smile, and the tables clean. The reception staff, especially wonderful Sophia and Pollonia were so kind, friendly, loved people and were the nicest people to be around. Nothing was too much and if there was a problem, it was sorted straight away. Also the wonderful man, so sorry I can’t remember his name, who helped with jobs around the hotel was great. I want to say thank you to you all. You made my birthday stay very special and I will never forget your friendly smiles.

“Highly recommend! Relaxing stay, excellent location, outstanding staff.”
Excellent location - 5 mins to a sandy, fairly quiet beach with beach bar (we went end of May/early June.) A 5-10 min walk to main bars/ restaurant (lots of steps which was fine for us but could be a consideration if not very mobile.) View from room was amazing (over the bay and town.) Sophia is an angel, super welcoming at check in and helpful throughout stay. Breakfast was decent, not outstanding but a good amount of choice. Overall great base to explore Batsi and Andros!

I really enjoyed my stay at Mare Vista Hotel - Epaminondas. From the first minute everything felt welcoming and warm, like being at home. The hotel is beautiful, with authentic Greek style: simple, clean, comfortable, with everything one might need. The location is also great, I had a room with a beautiful sea view. The hotel is very close to the beach. Breakfast had a wide and tasty selection: fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, and fresh bakery every morning. Special thanks to Sophia, the hotel’s administrator — she brings so much light and good mood into everything. Would definitely come back.

We were offered a free upgrade to a suite on arrival. Amazing view of Batsi bay. Really good powerful and hot shower. Decent variety of foods for Breakfast.

“Great value for money to stay right strolling distance from Batsi center.”
Amazing view over Batsi. Breakfast was nice (not amazing but perfectly adequate). We were upgraded to a suite which was nice and spacious for 2 but would have been cramped for 4 people. (There also weren’t enough cups / glasses etc for 4 either). Bed was comfortable, pillows good and towels changed everyday. Didn’t use the pool which was looking a bit sandy at the end of the season. Garage parking was a plus. Be prepared for lots of steps back from the village.
