The hotel is very well-maintained. Check-in was warm, welcoming, and absolutely seamless—special thanks to the lovely lady who greeted us in our native language! The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. In my opinion, the hotel restaurant is the best in town, and it has a beautiful decor. As for the breakfast – it was easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had, if not the absolute best. You can truly feel that this is a business with traditions rather than just another generic hotel chain. I highly and sincerely recommend it!

“Obnoxious personnel, avoid!”

I hope this review is read by tourists and hotel management. Hotel employees- they do not care hence it is not for them. We have booked a 3-night stay, standard double room. At checkin we are automatically being offered a room in the ‘new hotel’, at 40 € extra per night. This was the first red flag. We refused, as we had already paid 130€/night. We got a room in an ‘annex’ - a building across the street. Dodgy stairs with no elevator, in front of the room door a massive cot, completely against any safety rules, especially fire management. Second red flag. Got in the room, it was so dark even with the lights on, it was scary. You couldn’t read a line in a book with that light. The room had three single beds, despite being sold as double. It had a bad hostel feeling. No bottle of water, no kettle or hot drink station. Horrible. Went to reception and the personnel was obnoxious - explaining us how for 3-star they don’t need to provide anything really because it is not [in french] ‘rentable’, meaning - business efficient. I called booking .com and they called the property, finally we got moved to the new building. The room was better and at least had light. However - no water bottle ( it’s 20 cents), no kettle, after first night no room cleaning! We had to ask for toilet paper at reception! The room was a ‘double’, but it had two single beds, awful, not stable, moving about, with the most horrible mattresses. The road where the hotel is is very loud and there was construction work next door as well. Worst night sleep ever. What hotel management should know - their personnel is obnoxious and have an attitude. Telling us that 130€/night for something that looks like a hostel is fair makes me think they get paid too much. The hotel and adiacent restaurant lost at least 6-700 € on us. We would have had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, as the restaurant had quite good reviews.

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was superb. Location is the best in town. Room was pretty big, as was the bathroom. The bed was very nice, same goes for the pillows.

The staff is great and helpful! Welcome drinks are provided even for a small one. Happy to have a homemade ice-tea without sugar. Nice that there is a parking lot. My kid was amazed by bathtube with lightning. Nice to stay for a night and have amazing breakfast in the morning!
