Overview
The Sud Hotel is located 2 km from the center of the port city of Bastia and less than 300 meters from the east coast of Corsica. It offers a vegetable patch/Mediterranean garden on its rooftop terrace where you can quietly enjoy a drink in this green oasis. Wi-Fi is free. Arinella beach is a ten minute walk away. The air-conditioned rooms are simply decorated and each has a private bathroom. A flat-screen TV is fitted to all rooms. Breakfast is locally sourced (artisanal and homemade) and is served every morning from 6.30am. It can be enjoyed on the shaded terrace. The restaurant is open every evening in high season and serves Mediterranean specialities. Menus are seasonal and buffet options are offered. This establishment is respectful of the environment through various measures aimed at reducing the environmental impact (selective sorting, water saving, LED bulbs, etc.) There is ample free parking for cars and a garage for motorbikes at an additional cost. Bastia-Poretta airport is 20 minutes away by car.

“Lovely stay at Sud Hôtel”
The rooms are nice and the shower has great water pressure. Everything is clean. The different options to eat inside, outside in the courtyard or on the roof top was very nice. And the hotel management were great. Very smooth check in and check out. They have parking right outside the property which was great and I love how close it is to get to the sea wall for a nice walk.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great and you have a lot of choice, dinner at the restaurant is delicious and with good prices. It's clean, the bathrooms are nice. Beds are comfortable. It's easy to walk to Bastia center (25min), especially via the promenade by the sea (2 blocks down from the hotel). It's close to groceries, bakeries and supermarkets. There are also a few fast food restaurants nearby. For those with a car, there's a parking place in front of the hotel.

Evening meal was good. Lovely roof top terrace. Off street parking. Location not far from citadelle. Very friendly English speaking staff who let us into our room early as my husband was feeling unwell.

The room with a terrace is excellent. Interesting design, everything is new, very comfortable. Quick check-in and check-out. The staff is very friendly. The towels and bed linens are excellent. The hotel is better than many four-star hotels! Thank you.

“Super nice hotel and welcoming staff”
Very nice and tidy hotel, very well kept, with super professional and welcoming staff. I loved the patio/inner garden. The garage to store motor/bike is also a top feature.

“The best apartment we stayed in Corsica”
The apartment is by far the best we stayed in Corsica. We fully recommend it if you are staying in Bastia for a while. Although there is a nice kitchen in the apartment, the hotel offers a fantastic dinner and breakfast for 35 €, which is very nice. You dine and have breakfast in a cozy environment.

“Excellent option for stop-over in Bastia”
Nice hotel, perfect for late arrival by ferry, 5 minutes drive. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is clean, good AC, comfortable beds. Good breakfast.
