“Great hotel in Bastia”

Lovely room which was very clean and comfortable. Great location - very central and staff were helpful and friendly.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Bastia, very close to the square, shops, cafes, restaurants and the port. The hotel is literally only 50 metres from inexpensive underground parking if you are travelling by car. After a doubtful entry via a musty hall, we were pleasantly surprised by our room which was clean, air conditioned, and appears to have been fairly recently renovated. It was very comfortable, well equipped, and suited our purposes for an overnight stay perfectly. The staff were pleasant, helpful and attentive to emailed queries.

“Would NOT recommend”

NOTHING - I didn’t get the opportunity to stay. Arrived at the hotel at 10pm to find it wasn’t staffed and after some very curse interactions with the owner was informed that my booking had been cancelled due to a supposed water leak. This in itself would have been somewhat ok if I had been informed. The owner claimed to have cancelled this in advance however my booking was still showing as confirmed so no cancellation process had been instigated through Booking.com. The owner showed little empathy for the situation or my position to be without somewhere to stay at 10pm on a Saturday night. The lack of care was disappointing and I cannot recommend this hotel in case others find themselves in a similar situation.

Bedroom was small but big enough for a solo traveller. It was well appointed with everything you need. Location was excellent and reception was very accommodating letting me check-in early.

Central location, friendly welcome. Modern bathroom and spacious bedroom area. .A different concept - an old apartment divided into bedrooms with a huge common sitting room which I didn't use. After a long day of travel the comfortable bed was perfect. In the morning the staff organised my taxi to the airport.

Fantastic central location very comfy bed and good shower, easy to find from parking lot and hosts very good to communicate with

I was very impressed by the key-free accommodation and self-check in (even if it took me a while to figure the system out). The room is spacious, and modern, and the cafe downstairs is a nice place to have breakfast.

Pleasant room, comfortable bed and good bathroom. Loved the parrot wallpaper. Location was excellent, within 10 minutes flat walk of the Prefecture for the airport bus and the train station for days out elsewhere. Excellent location for cafes, restaurants and sightseeing in Bastia. The building had character and secure. I felt safe as a solo traveller.

The bed was comfortable, the shower great.
