“A lovely place to stay in the Citadel of Bastia”
Hotel Des Governeurs is an elegant hotel situated in the citadel of Bastia. It has wonderful views over the harbour ,coast to the island of Elba ,and the marina and city centre. We had a room at the front with views out to sea and enjoyed watching the sunrise and the constant movement of ferries. From the hotel you have easy access to the waterfront area and the centre of Bastia via a lift. There are some nice restaurants on the waterfront. There are very comfortable common areas near the foyer and there is an indoor heated pool and Hammam for guest use in the hotel. The staff were extremely nice and very helpful.

The location is fantastic. Magnificient views over the old harbour of Bastia and the sea makes this hotel a great choice. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
