Nestled on a working farm, this family-owned Minnedosa bed and breakfast is 1 kilometre from Carlton Trail. Each charming room includes an organic breakfast. A garden is located on site. Each farmhouse room at Fairmount Bed and Breakfast features hard wood floors. Comfortably furnished, all rooms boast views of the surrounding spruce groves and waterway. Shared bathroom facilities are provided. Overlooking the pasture, a daily breakfast is served in the quaint dining room. “An unique experience travelling in an old farm house”
The place is truly designered for travellers who enjoy farm life and nature. It's an old house of 110 year's history. Once you step in, you will feel yourself travelling back to old times - everything there looks old-fashioned and interesting. And the bed, pillow and blanket are comfortable. I like opening the old French-style window in the morning and hear birds singing. And the hostess Susan is very knowledgeable in cooking & planting, and I did enjoy having good conversation with her.

“Charming, historic homestead in a peaceful country setting”
The place was amazing. The history, the setting, the flower & vegetable garden, the animals, and of course Susan, a brilliant inspiring woman who has stories to tell and wisdom to share. She is a living successor of her 100+ year old family farm in a beautiful land of hills, lakes, birds, wildflowers and country charm. Hands down nicest place I've seen in our province.

Location was great and easy to find. The owner Susan is amazing, we had great conversations, she explained us about the area and history of the old house we stayed in. We also met her sheep and her donkey, and spent time with her cat and her dog.
