“Basqal resort #####”

The hotel is only some 3 or 4 years old - modern but rather soulless. Lots of car parking spaces and well sign posted so easy to find.. Our 4th floor corner Junior Suite was fine and looked over the back of the hotel to open fields and distant mountains. I liked the welcoming fruit bowl and selection of cakes, Dinner in the restaurant was good value with plenty of A La Carte choices and a lengthy wine list. Ijder, who served us, was meticulous in recording our choices.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The room was lovely, with a beautiful view, and we really enjoyed the spa—it was the perfect place to relax. Breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety, with something for every taste. The service was exceptional throughout our stay. A special thank you to Elmi for such a warm welcome. He took the time to explain everything, showed us around, and was always kind and helpful whenever we needed anything Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable—we would be happy to come back

We stayed at Basqal Hotel for a few days and absolutely loved it. I want to give a huge thank you to Elmi for making our stay so special. Even before we arrived, he reached out to me to make sure everything would go smoothly. When we got there, he welcomed us so warmly and had already arranged two beautiful rooms with a stunning mountain view. Throughout our stay, he kept in touch, always checking if we needed anything — and always with a big, genuine smile. It’s rare to meet someone who truly cares about guests the way Elmi does. Because of him, our stay felt personal, comfortable, and unforgettable. Big thanks to Elmi and the whole Basqal Hotel team — we’ll definitely be back.

I had an amazing stay with my family and hotel exceeded my expectations. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was very delicious. We appreciated the tea table stocked with sweets and fruits, which the resort generously replenished at no extra charge. I would like to thank all the staff members for exceptional service, especially Mahabbat from guest relations for his assistance and help from the moment we arrived until our departure. Such a beautiful hotel in the mountains of Azerbaijan, really calm and peaceful. The breakfast was tasty and the facilities were great. Rooms were super comfortable, we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Everything was amazing. This hotel is well located, far from the noise of the big cities. The building is beautiful, the decoration is elegant, the food of the restaurants was incredibly tasty and the room was comfortable. Regarding the location, there are beautiful villages and nature nearby. The staff was happy to advise us on what to do. Even though most staff speak little English, they all did their best to help us when needed. Special thanks to Günel who was is charge of us, I have never seen such level of hospitality. Next time we visit Azerbaijan, we will be coming back!

The hotel is great, I had an amazing time with my family here. The food at the restaurants is delicious and has a great variety of national and European cuisine. The breakfast is full of different dishes and drinks. I especially want to appreciate guest relations manager Ms.Gunel Maliyeva for her assistance and care. She provided us with a nice room with mountain and forest view.
