“Bike trip stay Bas-Leu near Lille”
Great secure courtyard through the "great doors". Covered area for motorbikes and supplied with additional stretch covers for the motorbike. Our hostess was wonderfully welcoming. We were shown to our room and invited downstairs for refreshments when we were ready to do so. The house is historically interesting, well appointed, clean and comfortable, and our hostess spoke excellent English and was very entertaining. Our bed was comfortable, the toilet and shower/bathing facilities were very good. Plenty of hot water and shower pressure was good. We enjoyed a lavish continental breakfast with homemade yoghurt, fresh apple juice, local cheeses, and lovely bread.

“Perfect peace, perfect welcome.”
Cecile is the most welcoming, charming and attentive host that it is ever my luck to stay with. The loveley old farm of Guersingnies is as welcoming as ever, sunk deep in the peaceful countryside just outside Avesnes. I have stayed with Cecile twice now and her guest management only improves. This rest stop cannot be recommended highly enough, others should take note...

The hostess Cecille was very welcoming and so helpful and paid much attention to detail. She took the time to talk with us and enjoy an aperitif before dinner. The meal made by her was excellent as was the breakfast. This very old house was both quaint and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

“Great and friendly stay in a lovely old B&B with great homemade food. Bicycle friendly!”
There are not a lot of hotels or B&B's in the area, but this one is definitely one to keep in mind! The ever so friendly host welcomes you in her historical B&B on the French countryside. From the friendly and personal welcome, to the home made food from jams to creme brûlée... it was all great. I came by bicycle, which was no problem for the host, safekeeping my lockless bike in the hallway.

A very cosy, ancient farmhouse in a beautiful part of France. The host, Céline is a charming lady who made us feel very much at home. The room is comfortable and the breakfast superb.
