The location away from the crowds and right on the beach. This did mean a 25 minute walk with a man pushing luggage on a wheelbarrow or a boat trip but the boat did not in rough seas. This was not a problem but people should be warned.

“Definitely recommend staying at pura vida Baru, great value!”
The breakfast was good, the location is very good, the staff is great! Would recommend this place for a getaway for a few days! The place is in a more relaxed part of the Playa Blanca so the big crowds aren't at your doorstep the whole time, which is nice too.

“Really amazing place for beach lovers”
Beach front location. Just 10 steps to water. La flaca and Gabriel are the best related to take care of you. You can walk and find everything you need (from food, water, drink, etc.) Best spot for relax.....no crowded anytime, very relaxing.

“Beautiful experience”
The location is excellent (!!!) on a quiet part of a busy beach. The staff was very friendly. And the food was delicious! Cute simple cabins and comfortable bed. We wanted to stay longer.

“Beautiful, would come back again!”
The cabins are extremely beautiful, well distributed and you have your private bathroom which seems a luxury around the properties at the area. The staff was super helpful and accommodating, very attentive and friendly. They took good care of us and provided suggestions and options to do around the area.

The beach it's beautiful, its just in front of the rooms, so it was perfect to chill without worrying that facilities were far. This was really good, as I travelled with a toddler. Also, the location is really quiet, specially in late afternoon when the majority of tourists leave town. The family that runs the place is really friendly and attentive of guests needs. They made us feel welcome from the beginning of the trip.

I think the only thing that they can improve is about the food. It is pretty small compared to the price and sometime it took a long time to be served. The rest was great. Alex is such a nice person

Location is very good, but the best part about this hotel was staff. People working there are just amazing. In overall it is a perfect getaway for anyone who's looking for wild, but comfy getaway.
