“The most wonderful stay in a gorgeous property”

Myself, mother and sister had the most wonderful 4 nights at this property in May. The hosts, Tristan and Isabelle, made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and they couldn't have done more to help us throughout our stay. The property was so lovely, well considered and beautifully decorated. It features spacious rooms and the kitchen had everything you could need to make meals. It was even nicer than the photographs and surpassed our expectations. The outside area is gorgeous with a very private garden space and lots of seating at the front of the property. There is also a wonderful pool space out of the back of the property with sun loungers and more green garden space. The area is quiet and ideal for relaxing. The property is situated amongst lots of vineyards and there are plenty of places to do wine tasting. - we went to Chateau Gravas which was a short walk away. We would love to visit again and would highly recommend it.

“Beautiful stay in Sauternais”

We were delighted by the character of the house, renovated and decorated with taste. We enjoyed the comfort of it and the beautiful living area by the fireplace. There was plenty of room and it was very quiet. The hosts Isabelle and Tristan welcomed us, they were very friendly and helpful when we needed something or for any local recommendations (if you are a foodie fond of wine, they are the people to talk to!!). We really enjoyed meeting them as they used to travel a lot around the globe like us. We hope to be back some day!

The property is extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. We had an excellent and very relaxing stay in Summer 2023 and enjoyed the facilities on offer. The flow from kitchen into dining area and then living space is very convivial and comfortable and the bedrooms are nicely tucked away so that two couples could (for example) enjoy privacy in their respective bedrooms at either ends of the building whilst sharing the property. Tristan and Isabelle were excellent hosts who were very keen to ensure we made every moment of our stay a pleasure.

“EXCEPTIONAL...the perfect gite!”

This is an exceptional gite, beautifully styled and decorated and is HUGE. It is far bigger than the pictures show. The kitchen is fantastically well equipped and has a dishwasher and table and every facility needed, there is a utility room with a fridge freezer and free to use washing machine. There is a separate dining room, and a beautifully laid out lounge both of which contain fantastic fireplaces ideal for a good cheese board and a bottle of red wine. There is a downstairs bedroom with its own bathroom and two further double bedrooms upstairs again with a joining bathroom. All the facilities were superbly clean. Fans are provided in each room. The outside space was outstanding, lots of sitting areas and sun loungers and a bbq was provided. There is also a beautifully scenic pool which is walled and again beautifully styled. The pool is shared just with the owners, there is only one gite so it's very peaceful and relaxing. The owners are brilliant, very welcoming and are both wine experts with fantastic local knowledge. We feel like we struck gold with this property and could not fault the beautiful location amongst the vineyards of Barsac. It is the perfect place to explore the vineyards from and the owners are brilliant at providing you with knowledge and information relevant to your stay. We had a perfect relaxing stay and will definitely hope to return. Merci beaucoup Isabel and Trystan for such a memorable family vacation.

Ideal location in the middle of the Sauternes vineyards. Great for discovering the region and Chateaux. For the less adventurous, the nice and cozy feel of the house is perfect for a relaxing retreat.

The house is just as in the pictures: wonderful, everything was perfectly clean, and Isabelle & Tristan made us feel at home straightaway. The house is very spacious, kitchen very well equipped, each room and bathroom very well designed and comfortable. You can feel the Asian influence from the interior design with pieces of furniture that are just beautiful mixed with the local stones and tiles which gives the place a unique feeling. We enjoyed a lot the homemade jam from our host which was incredible and the tips they gave us to go for wine tastings in the area. The landscape is an infinite view of vineyards surrounded by typical old houses and castles, just made us fell in love with the region. The only drawback was that we travelled in February and didn't get to try the pool, we would definitely come back and strongly recommend this stunning place to any travelers coming to discover this region.
