Separate lounge with fire place. Great decor. Host do not sweat the small stuff with enough of everything to keep you going for a few days, coffee, rusks, milk, muskito plugs, humidifiers, high bandwidth internet, fire wood, etc. Self service checking and checkout. Baie lekker. Will not stay anywhere else if the cottage is available 👍

“Quirky but very beautiful and comfortable house”

We stayed in the Moon House and it was like staying in an antique store! Very quirky furniture and decoration and extremely comfortable, especially the bed! As there was a kitchen and microwave, it would have been great to have a stove top too, as there was plenty of space.

The decor is quirky and interesting! Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom perfect. We walked to the Mud restaurant which was lovely. Great municipal lighting on streets.

Done with so much love! The eye for detail, fresh flowers from the garden, a welcome drink in the fridge with Some peanuts; real tea! Beautiful bed linnen; gorgeous soft towels; loved my outdoor table under the tree; its big; steel Windows and Doors I am an Interior designer and this has been done so nice and with so much LOVE i felt it! I had lunch in the owners restaurant Diesel and Crème What an amazing place what a decor… I had a smile from ear to eat staying in my private cottage!

“Exquisitely decorated and curated Karoo experience”

Beautifully curated Karoo home just off the main tourist street. Thoughtful touches like fresh juice in the fridge and dried figs as gifts for the guests. No TV was a plus. Just enjoy the Karoo quiet. Should have stayed longer!

The bed was comfortable. All the treats. The table under the tree, with the lights. Lots of unusual features. The vibe of the town. We had good food at Karoo daisy, Country Pumpkin ,The makers bru and Don Pedro's at the boutique hotel. We did the Tradouw mountain pass.

A very nice and spacious cottage, where you can really relax. Definitely recommend!

Beautifully furnished cottage in quiet street of Barrydale. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.

“Unique and charming stay”

Absolutely delightful place to stay. Comfortable and unique with a ton of charm. Also well-positioned in town where it's easy to walk to where you want to go. Would highly recommend to stay here! Also the host was super communicative with us - let us know about water pressure issues in town and even notified us about a special event in town that was a highlight of our stay.

Location

The cottage was much bigger on the inside than I expected. It was furnished very nicely, was very well appointed with amenities, was easy to access, and had a great location and beautiful garden. Very comfortable and peaceful sleeping experience. I loved the decorations and styling also.
