I liked the kindness of the host. We felt a part of their family as they helped us during the Carneval de Barranquilla and took us to arrangements. Area is walkable and safe. Has a store and some restaurants nearby You can walk here to via 40 where 3 of the days during carneval are. The host are very friendly and helpful. They want you to have the best experience. Its clean and tidy The aircondition is very good!

Absolutely fabulous studio in safe neighborhood with great wifi and all that you need. I rented the bottom apartment. The host was waiting for me upon arrival. There is free parking next to the property. The whole area is secure, there are cameras on the street as well as with the house. Walking distance are several grocery stores, many restaurants, and a mall. The river area is about 25 minute walk. The place is a studio type, with a semi-wall seperating the living area and the sleeping area. There is a small kitchen with some items to cook with, a large fridge, and a microwave. The living area has a couch and small bar-like set-up. The bedroom has one large and one small bed. The beds slept comfortable. There's a large TV with internet apps. The AC is in the living room area and cools the bedroom area as well. There is an extra fan in the bedroom area. Bathroom has water heated by the outside temperature (not uncommon in the coastal areas). Everything was super clean. Host is extremely nice. I was met with a smile and even some snacks and a gift. I could not figure out the wifi and she did her best to accomodate. tip: the wifi router is behind the TV. Signal is really good, stable and fast.

All the positive comments on this place are very well deserved. The room is spacious, clean and located in a calm and residential neighborhood. The entire family is more than welcoming, ready to answer all your questions and make you feel comfortable. I was even invited to go out to diner with the owner’s nephew’s family :) I definitely recommend!

The hosts are the nicest people! We felt most welcome in a separately-locked apartment and had complete privacy. They provided the breakfast of our choice and even offered us light refreshments when we arrived late in the evening. The hosts are genuine, pleasant individuals, available at all hours, willing to do anything to make visitors' stays more enjoyable and fulfilling. We feel as though we have become friends. They made us feel like family members. (Their children and extended family are delightful, too!) The hosts even were interested in our safe arrival at our next destination and checked in with us. When we return to Barranquilla, we will return here! I highly recommend this habitación to anyone - individuals, families and small groups, Colombians and foreigners. Family members know English well enough to understand and to be understood, including the children. You will not go wrong staying here!
