“Delightful stay in a charming B&B”

Bertrand was an excellent host, friendly and helpful. He made us a lovely breakfast and made suggestions for dinner in the area. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend everyone to stay at his charming B&B.

Excellent boutique hotel - beautiful, picturesque town (Barjac) with breathtaking views. Hotel was amazing - room sizes were spacious, clean and newly renovated. You are staying in a mini-chateau - very beautiful. Breakfast included locally sourced delicious pastries, organic fruit and yoghurt - amazing community. Host was very friendly, well-spoken in English and very informative about the traditions and customs of Barjac. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back there! This is a gem (both town and specifically the hotel!). Also there is a beautiful maine coon cat - the neighbourhood cat - who comes for a breakfast visit! :)

“Just perfect”

Everything was perfect. The location is amazing - in the beautiful Barjac, next to restaurants and beautiful buildings. The owner waited for us at 1 in the morning and was extremely helpful during our stay, recommending restaurants, places to visit and even movies. It was a pleasure discussing with him! The rooms are perfectly clean, big and a perfect combination of tradition and current facilities. In the bathroom there was a bag with everything needed. One of the best part was however the breakfast - only with local fresh products, served by the owner in a beautiful garden. Briefly, this is an unique place to stay - for sure we want to come back!

“A beautifully renovated, comfortable house in the heart of Barjac with a great host!”

Bertrand was an amazing host - very welcoming (he stayed up late to make sure I was checked in), had lots of good recommendations for places to eat as well as other villages and sights to visit. I felt very comfortable and my room was large and lovely. Bertrand is very eco-conscious - using organic products and foods, which I also liked.

Barjac is a lovely place to visit and the accommodation is right in the centre of Barjac. It is in an old tower and quirky in a good way, being totally functional without losing the charm of the building. To cap it all we had a delightful breakfast on the terrace.

Everything - see previous reviews We feel very lucky to have found such a gem of a place, in such a beautiful and historical hilltop location. Many thanks to Bertrand for making our short stay a very memorable one.

The room is in an historic building, with sophisticated furnishings. Beautiful bed, great pillows and storage. Very quiet location but close to restaurants. The host was most helpful and served a lovely breakfast. We wished it was more than one night.

A wonderful gem in the heart of Barjac. Authentic stone house beautifully renovated with all modern comforts. An excellent warm welcome from the host and a lovely breakfast. What more do you want?
