Lovely place, friendly staff, hot water. There is a beautiful garden. It is quiet, just like the rest of the village but also social as it is a small hostel. I ended up staying longer and will definitely return.

Homely feel, friendly staff , peaceful

Configuration of the hostels is nice and make it easy to bond with other guests. Clean, family like..very friendly atmospheré. Owner is helpful and flexible. Staff (volonturing) was really nice. We ended up stayng 2 weeks. And big + : very family friendly!

“Amazing chilled time!”

I simply loved it. It's a place to chill, have a rest from longer travels, to have social contacts but also space for alone-time or activities (they have a yoga mat, hammock, different chill areas, a beautiful garden). Well equipped kitchen and markets with fresh veggies nearby which invited to cook. Also washing possibility and hanging to let the laundry dry outside, so no dryer needed.

Good budget-friendly place with welcoming staff on a quiet street. Beautiful garden & courtyard to relax, cook or have a coffee. Breakfast was cheap & delicious.

Felt like home. I enjoyed it very much. The owner brings a warm and quiet Energy inside the hostal. Beds are very confortable. You have a great space to look your things. Kitchen is available and you can prepare a lot. Space for doing Yoga 😊 Not that far from the bus stop, around the plaza, D1, Fruit stores ... Offer wash service, anything you wanna know around the town, helps wherever he can. If you enjoy a quiet space with great people it's definitely calms you down.

I had a very lovely stay at Casa Nacuma. The hostel is beautiful and in a great location. Camilo was extremely kind and helpful and I would not hesitate to stay here again!

I tried a few hostels in Barichara and this one was by far my favorite! Amazing location, close to everything but in a quiet street. The dorm room was huge, with comfortable beds and big lockers. The kitchen had enough equipment to cook and the common bathrooms/showers were clean and had hot water. You can also do laundry for a fee and get breakfast of eggs/arepa/fruit/coffee for 10k. Camilo is friendly and helpful and speaks perfect English in case your Spanish is not quite good yet! This place is really peaceful and welcoming, it felt like a little home and it was easy to meet other people. Great wifi as well!

“Just book it! It's like home 💚”

I love Nacuma; it's tranquil, comfortable and well equipped. I was going to stay only a few days but ended up lingering for two and a half weeks! And it was one of the places I was truly sad to leave. It felt like home! The hosts, Camilo and Maria are absolutely lovely. They are accessible but also respect privacy and let you do your thing. Camilo has also been super helpful with tips on what to to in Barichara as well as other spots in Colombia. Natalia, the house keeper is super friendly and a lovely person to be around. I hope to return soon. Just book it! I booked the room with the garden view - 100% recommend! It was also the most peaceful rest I've had in Colombia. Oh, and the showers and bathrooms are super clean and ver close to the room so it being shared is no issue. The kitchen was also equipped for all my needs and always clean.

“Calm, beautiful place with a nice view and great people!”

Super nice staff. The hostal has a very calm, but still social vibe. However, there are very few people here, sometimes. The view of the city roofs and church is marvellous. The area feels safe. I kept extending my stay night after night because I was able to relax here so well. Also, there is a parrot that sings the Colombian anthom in the morning, it's hilarous! Go to the pool three blocks up the hill! It is so large, prestine, calm, barely any people and only $2 entry. Next to it, there is the best mountain viewpoint in town. And, check out Comuna 13 and e.g. their Yoga Classes!

This is a beautiful hostal, Peaceful, clean, charming! It is the perfect place to get work done, as well as to get to connect with yourself in case you are looking to recharge your batteries. Location is great and Camilo is a super host (and great guitar player!). He gave me all the useful info I needed for the rest of my trip. The hostel is basic but pretty and common areas are nice places to enjoy and relax
