Overview
This bed and breakfast is located right outside the residential area in Barendrecht. B&B het Smitshoekje offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. Rotterdam’s centre is a 20-minutes’ drive. The bed and breakfast has two bikes available for a nice cycle route and Rotterdam Ahoy is 10 minutes away. Each unit is furnished with a seating area, kitchenette and flat-screen TV. The bathroom is fitted with a shower. The studios have a colour theme and wooden floor. it is possible to only stay overnight without breakfast and the studio is also a perfect workplace because of the WiFi. In case you book breakfast it will be served at your studio. There is a supermarket, cafes and restaurants within 750 metres. Bus stop Rhoon, Reesteijn is a 6-minutes’ walk. From there it is 15 minutes by bus to event hall Ahoy. The Rotterdam Harbour is a 15-minute drive. It is a 10-minute drive to the A15 and A29 highways.

“The most perfect bed and breakfast”
Everything was absolutely perfect. Edward and Bianca went way above and beyond a standard bed and breakfast. the B&B is actually a small chalet type self contained unit at the rear of their property with breakfast delivered by Edward each morning. Location for me was ideal, 4km walk to Ahoy or connected by the local bus system. It will definitely be my first choice of location when returning to Rotterdam.

The location is just outside Rotterdam and well accessible by public transport, in a friendly, quiet neighborhood. Particularly, I was impressed by the kindness of the host who helped me with every need, especially in terms of transport. I also loved the personal atmosphere of the place and the nice patio outside.

“Fantastic B&B!”
The host was very friendly (er spricht übrigens auch deutsch ;-) ) and fulfilled our wishes e.g. for a vegetarian breakfast which was by the way fantastic! We were able to put our bicycles in the courtyard (it's only a 9 km ride to the Erasmus-Bridge). The whole accomodation was clean and we slept like "babies" in the bed - it was wonderful! We can definitely recommend this B&B!

The house is exactly the same beautiful as the photos show, it is very clean and tidy, and the yard is super cute. There are two bikes provided for free.
