Overview
This lovely red-brick building is perfectly situated in a quiet area of Barcelona, and boasts an outdoor swimming pool and a fantastic collection of lithographs by Picasso, Dalí, Tàpies and others. Each air-conditioned room at Hotel Gran Derby Suites features flat-screen satellite TV, a minibar and a private bathroom with a bathrobe, slippers and a hairdryer. “The perfect duplex in Les Corts”
This hotel was the perfect place for me to recover from my surgery which took place 10 mins away from the hotel. I booked a duplex as I had someone looking after me some if the time so they had a space to sit while I was resting. The staff were all lovely and could not do enough for me. They were very understanding and non intrusive for the whole 2 weeks. Glove delivered to the door daily very easily. When I was on my feet, the are had everything I needed from shops to restaurants, busy but nothing like Las Ramblas so overall a much nicer area.

Our room at was actually quite nice—spacious, well-laid-out, and perfect for our needs. Overall, the location was fine, and the room itself had potential, but these unresolved maintenance issues and the way they were handled made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been.
