“My favourite hotel. Ever.”
We loved everything about L’esquisse. We have never before stayed in a hotel with its own art gallery! The patron and his team were all charming and very obliging, the beds extremely comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. I don’t think they could have done any better.

Lovely accommodation in such a pretty, tranquil location. Room was spacious, light and with good heating control and facilities. Didn’t take the breakfast as wanted an early start. Staff were lovely.

“Great Stay”
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was very good, and the room was nicely designed and comfortable. The lobby was pleasant to spend time in, and the breakfast offered good variety. The staff were helpful and friendly. Overall, a well-designed hotel that I would be happy to visit again.

This place was one of the best hotels i've ever stayed. The owner's reception was heartwarming. This hotel has a gallery/ museum inside, and it was amazing to have Pierre as a guide. Rooms were comfortable and had all the things we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Just felt like home. Would give this place much higher rating than 10 if possible)).

we enjoyed every minute of our stay in the Hotel. on our arrival a young student from Singapoor played the piano, while we had delicious cake and coffee, we loved the precious art collection in the hotel. we had an nice chat with the owner of the hotel. mary made sure (via whatsapp) that we arrived safe and sound and her doughter gave as a nice welcome when we finaly approched. our room for the night was exceptionel beautiful and felt very cosy and confortable. thank you to the whole team , we will definitive come again. “To return to for longer visits.”
Lovely large room and magnificent bed with choice of cushions. Beautifully and with much light restored older hotel - as exaclty it should be in the lovely to visit and culturally famous Barbizon village. On the edge of the forest. Place for a two weeks retreat with good books or a pencil.
