“Definitely not worth the money”
It was in the picture-postcard village of Barbizon, which was beautiful. The hotel had some character but trades on this too much.

Breakfast was sumptuous and hotel manager was very helpful. Some rooms come with shared balcony which is good for a cosy afternoon in the sun with a drink.

We loved the location. Just a stroll to the Art museums on the main street, the bakery and a good choice a restaurants. Beautiful garden and quiet, calm surrounds.

Wonderful old hotel, full of history and charm. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely outdoor dining area. Food not bad and reasonably priced. Fabulous location to explore Barbizon itself and Fontainebleau. Good secure parking area at rear of hotel. Very good breakfast.
