Featuring an infinity pool with panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea, family-run Villa Stefanija is located in peaceful surroundings in small village Puntera in southeast Istria. It offers traditional cuisine at an onsite restaurant. WiFi is available in all rooms free of charge. All units at the VILLA STEFANIJA small Boutique hotel&restaurant have a sea-view balcony and come with elegant furniture and parquet floors. There are 5 double rooms and 2 deluxe suites at the property. Guests can enjoy a relaxation zone with views of the infinity pool and the sea. The hotel boasts a spa area with a hot tub, a Finnish sauna and a fireplace. Spa area, as well as massages and various cosmetics treatments can be used at a surcharge. We stayed for three nights. I liked the breakfast very much, the selection on offer and the breakfast service was fantastic and friendly. The location as well was very beautiful with magnificent views. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on that Check out was pleasant.

We quite enjoyed that this villa was in a remote area, but still not far from the main attractions of the Istra region. We had a corner room on the first floor with a view of the harbour and a pool, quite a stunning view. The owner was friendly and she herself has a nice, very friendly dog. Breakfast was quite nice. The place is dog-friendly with a daily fee. Quite calm, not many people.

Villa Štefanija in Barban, Croatia, is a perfect retreat. The cozy ambiance felt like a home away from home, and the owner’s kindness ensured a seamless stay. The infinity pool with panoramic Adriatic views was absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommended for a serene and relaxing getaway.

“Oasis of tranquility”
This is a gorgeous property situated at the end of a narrow country road that leads to the most amazing panoramic view of the sea. We had a standard room which was small but coquette, with a small (shared) balcony that let us further enjoy the sea view from inside. Cleanliness is at very high level, everything was spotless, even the pool water was perfectly clean all the time. We loved the pool as we had it almost completely to ourselves, no cram, no noise and, my favorite, no children:), though I believe this was merely a coincidence. We had dinner at the property on 2 occasions and it was delicious! And last, but not at all least, the staff was incredible! Kind & friendly and out of their way to accommodate any of our needs. I must say, with no intention to create any jealousy, that my no. 1 was Bon! A lovely stay, thank you!

Actually, everything about Villa Stefanija was absolutly amazing. This place is truly special, offering simple but true luxury. Duška was such a wonderful host - we shall be forever grateful for your warm welcome. The staff are also so kind and did everything to make our stay unforgettable. Villa Stefanija is spotless and so well kept. Our room was small but truly beautiful, the bed was so comfortable with beautiful bedclothes. There were plently of towels, shampoo, conditioner, showering gel, body lotion etc in the bathroom. We also really appreciated the extra towels for the pool. Breakfast was a dream and we also enjoyed delicious food (thanks to the great cook) and drinks in the restaurant on three out of four evenings. The service was so friendly and just so wonderful. We wish to thank Duška and her staff for making our stay so special. We really appreciate what you did for us. We will definitely be back as soon as ever possible. Villa Stafanija is such a truly special and welcoming place. Wishing all of you wonderful people there very very best. We miss you.

The location and the views were beautiful. We particularly appreciated the breakfast - it was very tasty, local and we even had fresh figs from the garden. The stay was quiet and peaceful - very often, we were the only ones swimming in the pool and sunbathing.

“Beautiful, peaceful location with breathtaking view. Super friendly and nice host.”
The hotel is in nice and peaceful area at the end of a small village. View from the room was beautiful overlooking the sea. There is also forest and trail next to the hotel which was ideal for a walk with our dog. Unfortunately it was too cold (we were there in March) to use the pool, but it was nice and clean. Host was super friendly and always available. Breakfast was also delicious. We hope to return!

Beautiful villa, idyllically situated on a hill with infinity pool and great views of the bay. Restaurant has a good kitchen. Outside dining from dusk until night. Quad room was large and divided into several rooms. A nice place to end your holiday before flying back home. Pula airport is 20km away.
