My friends and I stayed one night here and we were all very happy with the stay. The room we stayed in was big and the bed were also very big. We got our own toilet and shower too. We booked the Ijen hike through Thalia homestay and we were very happy. Our guide Zugi (I think that how you spell it) was very nice and helpful. He even made two videos from the hike of us that he sent through whatsapp. We would recommend the guide! When we came home from the Ijen hike our host had made us breakfast (for free) which was very needed after the long trip we had been through. We were very happy with the host and appreciated her kindness and helpfulness! We would recommend staying here if you’re thinking of doing the Ijen hike.

Had only few hours there before the tour to Kawah Iljen - which was really nice and with a great guide. Kinda clean, ok shower, ok bed Really friendly and helpful owner :)

The host was lovely, we received complementary breakfast and there was free coffee and tea. The air con was good, bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of space. We booked the Mt Ijen tour through Thalia which was great and simple to book.

The hosts were very helpful and nice, they helped us in renting a motorbike and with a lot of recommendations about the area. It has a nice location in Banyuwangi, the area around is calm and chill, but close to shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable.

Everything that you need, excellent value, kind and informative hosts. Thalia helped us to arrange our Ijen, Bromo, Tumpaksewu waterfall and trip to the airport! She is very knowledgeable and is always available to contact to make sure the trips go smoothly and gives great tips <3

“Perfect stay in Banyuwangi”

Everything was perfect! The people of the home stay were so lovely and helpful - we did the Mt. Ijen tour through them and they helped us sort out medical certs beforehand too, they also helped us sort out our transport to Malang which we are so grateful for. The location is perfect, close to the main street and the room is spacious! 10/10 recommendat

Nice place run by Gennie and Steve. It is perfect place if you want to visit Kawah Ijen. In afordable price they arranged us shared trip to volcano and after return from the trip a transfer to Kuta on Bali. Owners recomanded to us great sea food restaurant in the local port so ask them for it when you come.

Thalia was an amazing host, very communicative and helpful with all our questions and always responded fast. She arranged a Ijen tour for us and also a local shuttle back to Bali afterwards. She also provided breakfast after the tour. Excellent value for money.

Jenny gives the best hospitality and the place is really better that they show on pictures. They just let us stay earlier of our check in time and they offer ijen tour, so everything was really easy.

We took a Family room. Single room with 2 double bed queen size, with private bathroom. For a family with parent and two children ... This option is very good choice. This room is large and very comfortable The value for money is great ... The owner is a nice lady and we are enjoy talking with her. ... About the trip to Ijen or Bromo ... This is a great place to stay
