If you plan to trek Ijen this hostel support smoothly. I requested to wake up before leave hostel to ijen, owner wake you up, support until you come back, serving a little breakfast, send photos from tour. I was happy to stay there, felt connection to the local people.

Nice Place, Clean Room, Good Value. No noise apart from the wakeup by a mosque (as in most places in Java). Mr Dannu is very helpful in organising private tours to Bromo, Kawah Ijen, Meru Betiri and Baluran. You shall have an idea about prices need some bargaining.

Danu is a great guest, very nice and helpfull. He will do everything to make your stay satisfying and your journey simple. He helped us with the ferry tickets for free and He found a private van for our trip to Bali. His homestay is clean and quite comfortable, and the breakfast is great. The Kawah Ijen and Bromo tour organized by Danu is absolutely perfect and worth every dollar ! Don't miss it ! Thank you for everything Danu ! Eddy

This homestay was super cozy with a real homely feeling. Dannu was very kind in making me feel at home. No question was to much. The double bedroom at the front was very comfortable and everything is clean. I was able to rent a bike and ask any questions I had. I ended up staying 4 nights here as I felt so comfortable. There is a nice comfy common area and kitchen area. It's silly not for guests but he allowed me to make some breakfast which was a bonus.

I really enjoyed staying here! The rooms are cozy and the beds comfortable. dannu is a super nice host! He's very helpful with booking a tour or giving recommendations & answering questions. You can use a kitchen and get drinking water to refill your bottle which is a big plus. Everything was clean:) Thank you!

Dannu, the owner, is very kind, welcoming and attentive. Rooms are clean. The tour in Mount Ijen was organised via the hostel for a good price!

Nice family room with 3 single beds, good airco, clean room and shower. The guesthouse owner tipped us for a good taxi transfer to our next city for a reasonable price.

The house is really nice but the toilet could be cleaner and there’s no hot water in the shower.

Its was a great experience very chill and cool owner we enjoyed a lot and if you are staying here dont plan for bromo and blue fire they already have cool package ask owner and use that , i feel thats best trip you can enjoy,, next time if i come to ijen i will stay here for sure!!

I stayed for one night in dannu's guesthouse and had a great time. The guesthouse has a familiar feeling and the owner is very helpful and went out of his way to help me with problems and transportation. He has lived in Sweden for 12 to my surprise. Would absolutely recommend this place if you want a more authentic feeling rather then some of the newer hostels thst are available in town.
