Absolutely exceptional location, very comfortable equipment. Good communication with the host. When we didn't have hot water, Denis took care of it right away. We could turn to him for anything. He is very friendly.

“Peaceful getaway on the beach”
The owner of the property met us at the Banyuls sur Mer train station and gave us a lift to the apartement. It was clean and tidy with a view over the beach and sea. Round the corner up the hill to Banyuls ser Mer there is a lovely tea shop/cake shop followed by an amazing tapas bar overlooking the ocean (with live music).

“A great base to explore the area”
The location of this apartment is literally by the beach. (Bring shoes for the beach, it is pebbly, shingly). It's a lovely little apartment, very comfortable. It has everything you need. The owner is lovely and very helpful. There is a boulangerie just a 2 minute walk away. And a bus stop for buses to places along the Banyuls to Perpignan route. We recommend getting the bus to Collioure. (Parking is limited there). It is also a lovely walk into Banyuls from the apartment. There are some lovely villages inland to visit too, such as Castelnou and Céret (beware the big balls in Céret! I fell over one!! 😫) If you like driving challenges, take the Route des Cols and also the D86.
