Very central location, but far enough away to be quiet. Quirky apartment, where else is there a bathroom in the sitting room? Nice peaceful balcony at the back for breakfast and afternoon drinks. Comfy bed and nice new shower room.

We loved our stay in this charming apartment. It was just a few steps away from the beach, located in a picturesque lane with beautiful flower-decked houses. The apartment itself was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We loved the little balcony looking out over the roof tops. The apartment had character with original floor tiles and windows. It was perfectly clean and the hostess who met us was professional and very helpful. It was a perfect stay and we plan to return. Thank you to our hosts.

Everything! A very nice traditional/catalan style appartment in the heart of Banyuls, my favourite place in the Mediterranian. Location is great, just 1 street away from the sea. Beatiful street and peacefull environment. Nice neighbors as well. Close to Banyuls “passeig” (main city street) with all their restaurants, etc. Very easy to get to the appartment by train, bus, car…great transport location as well. The appartment is perfectly well equiped: kitchen, microwave, oven, stove, washing machine, iron, etcetc. There’s also a fridge! 2 rooms and confortable beds. There’s a nice, sunny balcony with a small table and lots of natural light throughout the house. Is very easy to clean and to mantain tidy and in order for a longer stay (many days in a row). Also the appartment is very beautiful, traditionally decorated and with the essence of an old town representing Banyuls and its Catalan heritage. It’s exactly like going back to Gaudi’s or Picasso time! The rooms to sleep are really nice, confortable and special. In the living room the owners left us a welcome detail consisting on traditional Catalan food, this was lovely! The living room is really warm and cozy, ideal for reading, relax and have a good time. Keep in mind is a traditional appartment (old style) so don’t look for modern “luxuries” that can keep away the original spirit of the place (no air con, the bathroom is on one of the rooms, there’s another separated bathroom outside in the balcony and a super cozy hidden bathtube room in the living room). That’s the way this places were built in the time and how their spirit is. I live back home in a similar house and it’s exactly this way. The appartment it’s a second floor and of course as any old traditional flat there’s no lift, just stairs. It shouldn’t be a problem but if you are on a injury or with special needs (wheelchair etc) here it might not be your most confortable place for your situation.
