Very calm place with nature around it. It feels very authentic sharing the place with Pow’s family - all of them lovely people. The food was simple but delicious. He did vegetarian for me. Pow is the most experienced and likely best nature guide in the village. Had extremely good and memorable experiences with him going to the forest to camp and live like locals do. He is one of them - it’s been my most authentic experience in Cambodia so far.

Great welcome, the owner Pao was very attentive to my needs, brought me to breakfast in town every morning, his wife cooking me food for lunch and/or supper. I was by myself but didn’t feel alone having the family around, and Pao included me in his evenings with his friends. I had my own room with mattress on the ground firm but I find comfortable with a mosquito net. Shared bathroom but very clean toilet. Shower with the bucket with cold water - but invigorating and makes the experience authentic ! Nice setting with greenery. Hammocks to relax.

Mr POV goes above and beyond in every aspect for his guests. From offering a free pickup from the bus to organising an affordable jungle trek for me as a solo traveller he is extremely thoughtful and kind. Although the property is a little way out of town the food is amazing and I would highly recommend to anyone.

The facility is very beautiful, natural life, staff interest is perfect, real naturalness. It is clean and a place I will always come to.

Mr. Pov can pick you up when you arrive in town, then you can spend the evening with the family and you enjoy a wonderful homemade meal for 2,5$. Everybody is kind and wants you to have the best stay as possible ! You can also have a very local breakfast for 1,5$. I booked with Mr. Pov 3 days trekking in the jungle with two local guides and it was amazing !!!

Extremely kind family, you can have diner there for 2.5$ and it’s delicious. The room is very simple with a double mattress on the floor but if you don’t need a lot of comfort, it’s the best you’ll get for that price !

Pav and his family were nothing short of perfect hosts, and provided a completely authentic Khmer experience! Pav acted as a personal chauffeur throughout my stay and also brought me with him to hang out with his friends and see the town and the market. The area is beautiful and although I didn’t do any jungle trekking, your wonderful host can give you a lot of information. The Wi-Fi is reviewed badly but I had no troubles with it during my stay. Thank you Pav for a wonderful time in Banlung ❤️

This is a real homestay! If you're looking for a "sharing with locals" experience, this is the place to be. Pov, the father of the family, speaks good english and can organise nice hikes to the jungle with you (out of the big tourist agencies). He is available 24/7 and can take you anywere you want with his motorbike. Pov's family is so sweet and you'll have dinner together if you want. The house is in the middle of the forest, such a beautiful environment. Don't expect luxury, this is a homestay, not a hotel/hostel and that is what makes the experience amazing. I truly recommend this place because it's alsoa good way to support locals after the damage that covid caused in their busineses. Thanks for having me family!

Thanks to Pov and his family, you will find some peace, rest and fun at their homestay. Pov is an intelligent, kind and interesting man that knows Ban Lung region like his pocket. He will give you the best advices, answer your questions about the region and Cambodia in general, and eventually take you to do things with his local friends. He can also take you trekking in the jungle and I can't think of a better person for the job. The place is simple and clean, in a peaceful area of the town. I slept wonderful. To all the travelers stopping in Ban Lung, don't hesitate to give there!

Simple and pleasant homestay. Ideal starting point for jungle trek. Pov, the owner, can organize a trek and accompany you. You want to walk, a little, a lot, you prefer to stay at the waterfall or other ... just ask, the trek is yours. Sew, from the Kacha people, will be your guide and will show you everything that is useful and edible in the jungle. The best meals we had in Camboge were prepared by Sew and Pov in the jungle with plants from the forest and freshly caught fish. When you leave Sew in his house at the entrance to the jungle, you're not just going home, you're also leaving a part of yourself in the jungle. Unforgetable experience

the room is correct, we have spent a great time with that family. The cooking of the family is delicious, we ate very well, the family is very kind. It is an excellent price for the quality it is possible to organize a trek with the owner for a good price.

If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience in Banlung, then look no further than Pow's homestay! His family are some of the most welcoming and caring people we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Pow went above and beyond to make our stay special, organizing an amazing jungle trek for us that was full of adventure. The house itself is different from what you'd expect - but in a good way - with breathtaking views all around it. Although it's not located right in the center, renting a motorbike or getting one of Pow's lifts will get you there quickly enough! We highly recommend staying at this lovely homestay if given the chance; both Pow and his family are always happy to help out however they can. It really made our trip so much more enjoyable knowing we were being taken care off by such kind-hearted people!
